The Other Manning.... NYG vs Ravens

163 posts in this topic

We won't beat them. With their WR corps and our lack of a real DC or secondary, not a chance. Our Oline also flat out doesn't know how to pass block so how will they block JPP, Tuck, Usi and Kiwanuka?

Add in that Flacco looked like a JV high school QB today and you have another recipe for disaster.

And our offense won't be much better with a offensive coordinator that has no type of experience in the NFL. What a tough stretch this is.

38 - 3 New York Giants.

Defense will keep them in the game at the beginning.

Offense won't get a first down till the 3rd quarter.

Flacco will have 4 turnovers with about 50 over-throws.

And Harbs will probably waste all time outs by the 3rd quarter.

This, pretty much.

The Giants are a better team. Period. And as bad as Flacco and the OL looked today, they're going to look twice as bad against that Giants' pass rush. I'm expecting it to be really ugly.

We lost 34-17, they lose 34-0. We shall see what happens when a stoppable force meets a moveable object.

I smell 4 in a row. :bitenails:

GO RAVENS. We need to pull ourselves out of this funk. Our backs are up against the wall...time to show some cojones.

I hope someday i can look back on this game and say "wow, that was our last loss. we totally turned around vs. Eli and crushed Cincy!"

unfortunately, that's not going to happen.

35-9 New York.

The other Manning does not worry me much but that defensive rush does. If they get to him early he will be done yet again. Once rattled he never recovers so go after him full tilt. I was a critical Joe fan before but after the last 2 weeks i am hating his play and hope he gets the hell knocked out of him. I never seen a QB do more things wrong at the very worst possible time in a game ubtil i watched Joe this season. He has been awful except for 2 games and that is something to brag about huh. If our patch work D had not stepped up it would have been a very very bad game and lost in the first half.

I know it was not Joe's fault but how many three and outs in the first half were from over thrown balls which happens a lot in every game. Or the fact that he still with a foot in the end zone wants to hold the ball for almost 10 seconds to just drop it off. He has been a terrible game manager this season and if he gets anything over 10 Mill this off season then we are the dumbest act around. He is no more then a Rivers duplicate that allows a OC to take the fall when he himself was just as much to blame.

He is a wast eof talent that will never be top five even though he thinks he is. After this season he needs to buy the defense a huge gift as most of our games were won on defense and special teams. What a waste, cannot stand the guy.

It should actually be 34-3, minus the two junk TDs at the end of the game against an incredibly soft D.

Harbaugh needs to keep the challenge flags a little deeper in his pockets. Because either they keep slipping out and onto the field on clearly good calls, or he doesn't know how to do his job.

They'll be incredibly hungry, I see us getting a few sacks on Eli but not enough to fully disrupt him. We're doomed if we have another offensive repeat of today.

I expected this.... Caldwell is new, we have not gotten used to him yet... I think we will improve

We BETTER win this game. We lost three in a roll. I'll be if we lose another one @ home.

We will not!

Luckily, both teams have been tanking lately. Home field advantage should give the Ravens a slight edge. Caldwell and Flacco will have a week to examine what went wrong. Hopefully, Lewis will finally return this week.

Unfortunately I don't have the confidence you do. An OC with no playcalling experience + a QB who can barely read NFL defenses trying to come up with a gameplan against tthe SB champs: a defense that has shut down the likes of Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady within the past year. A think a great sign of progress is if the Ravens can just be competitive in this game.

We can beat them if the offense and defense can get rolling at the same time.

Many of you will probably say "that's a big if" and I'm not going to argue with you on that.

Rest everybody! Ravens in!

No, I would like to get into some type of rhythm going into the playoffs and we would love to have at least one home game in the playoffs.

We have to run Ray Rice and run him some more next week. Too neutralize the pass rush of the Giants, alot of draws would help b/c their DE's s is going to rush strong upfield.

Peyton > Eli, by leaps and bounds.
I am not declaring victory, but I see this game way more winable that the Denver game.
I say less than a ten point difference for the entire game.
