How confident are you ?

First of all, I want to know why you don't think we will win at least 1 of the final 3 games coupled by Pittz and Cinn losing to make the playoffs. Then we will most probably play a team like Indy in the first round. Of the playoff caliber teams, we should be able to win the first round as long as we don't go up against anyone with a backup QB. Seriously, as a season ticket holder, I don't have the luxury of turning off the idiot box everytime it looks like our team is going to lose. I'm not one to leave early in the 4th quarter either. So, pick a team and stick by them, even if they are in dead last.

I don't put much faith in stats or trends in football. Otherwise, how could the Dolphins, who were 0-fer at the time, beat us a couple of seasons ago. Wasn't the coach still Cameron who should be coaching in Saskatchatoon or Cameroon then?

I called this game a loss back in August.
A fully healthy Ravens have lost to Peyton more than a few times. He is just that good of a QB.

I am not one of those dooms day the sky is falling people.

I know the Ravens are going into this game fully prepaired. Ready as we are ever going to be. Most (most) players are going to play to the best of their abilities. I just dont see that being enough today.
I could be wrong.

I was feeling loss when the schedule was first posted, too. It's not about Manning as about the Denver pass rush and our offensive line problems.

34-23 Broncos.....

It's possible if we don't get a few turnovers our way.
Here is thing though if the Ravens dont win at least 1 of the next 2 games at home against the Broncos or the Giants the winner of that Steelers Bengals game next Sunday will go into the final week of the regular season with a chance to win the AFC North. If the Ravens lose today and the Steelers lose in Dallas they still do not clinch the AFC North today. They absolutely have to win at least 1 of these last 3 games if they are going to win the North. There is no possible scenario that they could clinch the division if they lose out...

I'd really like to beat the Giants and resolve the "what-ifs" from last season.
Eh. it wouldn't really resolve them. a little but not really. we have some of our best defensive players gone and new coordinators. i personally think a giants-ravens Super Bowl rematch would've been hardcore last year, but this wont be anything like what could've been.

This does have trap game written all over it, in our favor.
I do agree about that.

I don't think Manning will fall into the trap, though. Broncos in a rout.

I'm not at all confident in what the Ravens can do to win. Already today in the first half Flacco is responsible for two Bronco scores....The Defense is holding there own, even with all the injuries.
I'm wondering if we should look for another QB in the draft ... He constantly over throws....Just my 2ยข

So i guess we are all hyped with today's game and the fact that sits in front of us will not even be discussed because it is everyone but our "Franchise" quarterback. I guess caldwell, the O'line and what ever else is to blame for many over thrown balls, fumbles and turn overs. Of course it is. Am glad we are all so naive to think that we will be a Play off contender even at one and done.

Thanks Joe yet again.
