Our stats show that we're kind of a mediocre team, right in the middle of the pack. We all know that we've stolen a few games, but we've lost a few games that we could've won, too! (last two weeks, for example). However, you can't measure the heart of a lion, that's our X factor for the rest of our football to play, hopefully through Feb.'s big game!

If the defense can "dig in", or even better "take it to" them creating turnovers, we have a great chance to win this. I would rather not see an offensive shootout since the offense is going through some obvious changes.

However...if it comes down to an offensive battle, I truely believe the offense has the talent plus playmakers to beat the crap out of anyone in the league. Hands down.

Since I know fans never give any, here are some humble fan suggestions:

Ray and Vonta like to run alot, let them.

Our defense loves being aggressive, give them what they want.

Remember, short routes need love too, not just long ones.

Joe Flacco, try to be quick slick, you will make Michael Oher smile!

If you give Manning all day, it WILL be a long day!

Oh yeah....of course win!

GO RAVENS!

The Ravens can win this game. Peyton is great but he did throw 3 interceptions in the 1st half of a game earlier this year. Joe and the offense must keep Manning&Co. on the bench this week. Denver is the 4th ranked defense,we ain't so Elite Joe must rise up and make Jim Caldwell look like a genius. Spread'em out and run shotgun hurry up QB movement and draw plays inside the outside pass rush of Elvis&Von. Quick screens. Hey diddle, diddle Ray up the middle......& pray.

Andy Reid will be available for the right price as OC next year. He might want to move just down 95 if the price and resposibility for the offense is offered. Assistant head coach with autonomy over the offense might get us someone who could keep Joe in B-mo

NO RAY!! Woe is me. OK why can't Sergio Kindle make this roster,it's obvious Suggs&Lewis are still recovering while denial keeps future stars on the practice squad. Is Byrnes better than Sergio? Hamilton? or just more experienced(heh-heh)

Blitz, blitz and more blitz. Take it to him, hurt him. Knock him down take a few roughing the passers. I don't care, whatever it takes we need to do it.

Blitz by whom? Blitz Peyton with a 2nd year practice squad LB calling the defenses sent down by Pees? Good Luck. Maybe Manning will commit some turnovers. Tipped interceptions. Kruger outplaying Von Miller. Our 7th rd DE outplaying Elvis Dumbervil. We get the Super Bowl Manning next week will Ray be ready then? Will Suggs be back from his honeymoon?. Where's Sergio? Will Upshaw get his name mentioned during the game?

That 1st "matchup to watch" is positively frightening, along with that 3rd "question to answer". Given those issues, it is going to be mighty hard to "right the ship".

We can't act as if the sky is completely falling on us if we fail to come up with this game. I simply don't see us getting a bye in the playoffs, so just one win to finish out will give us the North, an entry in the post-season, with a home game to start. If we can get healthy over the next month, that may have to be good enough.

Joe responds in a big way by outdueling Peyton just like he did with Brady earlier in the season.

You can't blitz Peyton,He is to smart. We need to look at how Atlanta beat him earlier in the year they Discised everything and Manning threw 4 or 5 picks!!Hope Peas is smart enough to watch the film on that game with his whole defense!!!!!!

Matchups:
1. Von Miller will probably be lined up against Kelechi because hes a rookie & struggles in Pass protection
2. Ed needs to have his best game in a LONG time.
3. Torrey needs to step up & be consistent

Questions:
1. No one knows anything about the offense until they take the field tomorrow
2. Flacco also needs to step up, Better pocket awareness, & better accuracy.
3. We need Ellerbe out their, W/O Mcclain its scary thinking brendon & Josh will start at ILB

Just dont "WAIST" possesions like someone else I used to know! 30pts is a Must and 40 will be Lovely! Defense will hold peyton to 20-30pts no more!

it will almost be worth losing the past 2 to beat the snot out of the Broncos and feel the redemption
[/quote]

Beating Peyton would be great, BUT beating the Steelers and Skins back to back weeks as a resident of NOVA would have been priceless along with a playoff spot and division title wrapped up. So no I do not agree with your statement hence the negative on your post. Sorry bud :(

I hear you bro. We have played well for 50+ minutes with our backs to the wall the past two weeks. Hopefully we can play the entire 60 minutes and come up with a win. This will be much tougher this week than the prior two weeks :(
