I may be suffering from NTS(New Thread Syndrome) but man, paul kruger is proving all the prognosticators wrong. He will be kept and cary will be thrown out the window in free agency. He is single-handedly keeping us afloat in pass coverage with his pass rushing. If suggs was healthy(no achilles or bicep tear), we would have the best outside linebacker duo in the league. I think we have our 10 sack guy and we can move on to bigger and more pressing issues like inside linebacker or d-line. Woohoo, give it up for paul kruger.

I agree here, but can we afford to keep him?

Don't think we'd have the best olb duo in the league. But I agree, Kruger's been going off

He's a great rotational pass rusher. But we can't give him starting OLB money. If he's cheap i'd keep him but if not...oh well.

I want to keep him, but I can guarantee some team out there that runs a 4-3 is going to outbid us for him.

He will get 6 to 8 mil next year but not here. The only thing that may drop his value is the abundance of pass rushers in the draft.

Why in the world the coaching staff tried to make him into a 3-4 defensive end, I will never know. Look at the strides he has made the last two seasons at a more natural position. Keep up the good work Kruger.

I hope he subscribes to the theory that you Dance With Who Brung Ya!

Work with the team, get a decent contract, and that will help you be successful in the long term as it allows the team more flexibility.
"Flacco got a hug from owner Bisciotti after game.. Flacco told him: “that felt good.. That was big”

That seems like it was worded wrong...

He made some strides this year. Not sure if its enough to buckle our salary cap for it though.

4-3 would be the perfect defensive set for Kruger as a DE. I think someone offers somewhere in the 5-6 million dollar range as he is not a complete linebacker. He is a pass rush specialist that is finally getting a chance to work on his run defense with JJ gone. If Kruger takes a hometown discount bring him back if not Upshaw will take his place with Suggs on the other side. I am fine with Upshaw as he is younger and has made strides as the season has moved on.

I still don't trust him as a sack guy year in and year out. Although he has been impressive the last six games, gotta give him credit for playing good. The ravens might have stunted his growth by trying to make him a 3-4 end, but the last two seasons proved he should be on the outside. Hopefully he continues his success in this year and later years to come. Good job Kruger

I saw an article on PFF which said he's like 6th in the league for 3rd & 4th down pass rushing, with that said he can only generate pressure on the left side against right tackles but he's not a true power end who can dominate the run. We didn't draft him in the second to be a situational guy.
