This will all come down to who comes out with more heart. Both teams got stomped today. Should be a nice, violent game. GO RAVENS!!!!

With all our injuries, I don't think we can fight a real violent game.

Joe is just not that good. Aaron Rodgers online has given up the most sacks in the league, but he still plays at a higher level. Joe can't run the offense like the elite QB so you will always get up and down play with him regardless of the o-lines play.

We got blown out at home. Letting Flacco pad his stats is no way to save the team money (JOHN) you might have to go.....All eyes on you right now (game manager).

Enough with injury talk already put it to bed this team would still be bad even if they were healthy.
With 4 out of five top tacklers out? O line in shambles?

Rewatch that Pitta TD to see what it's supposed to mean.

He's the only one doing it, sadly.

J.Jones played hard the entire game. He even gave that spark the offense needed until Flacco decided the Fans at M&T Bank were getting to happy.

You are usually a great poster on this site but you must admit that defenses would rather game plan against Torrey Smith deep than against Finley, Jones, Nelson, Cobb and Jennings deep. No way would Flacco not be able to put up big numbers with those players.

That's true. In retrospect, Doss played great too.

We had Flacco Killing Drives ( fumble and pick 6)
And the Refs by not being consistent with penalties. Holding call on us isn't called against them, missed Facemasks penalty. Missed blow to QB head.... Significant penalties that could have kept drives going for us. And penalties that derailed drives.

The O-line and offense as whole was already stinking it up they needed the refs to call a flag for every first down we get.

Bright spots / Players that played hard IMO..

J.Jones was the lone bright spot for most of 3 qtrs.
Pitta finished strong after missing a couple of poorly thrown balls that were catchable.
Pierce had a series where he was very good until the Birk holding call.
Ighedibo had a solid game
T.Doss ran strong after the catch, looked fast, and he made good punt return late.

The defense as a whole played great for the 1st half but just couldn't be asked to continue at that pace with so many backups and with the offense never gaining any first downs to let them get rested.

Well on my birthday Ray Lewis tore his Triceps, Webb Tore his ACL, the defense looked spineless giving up the most rushing yards ever by a Raven defense. We got a W but it felt terrible.

Ouch. Has not been this team's year. Congrats to Peyton Manning I mean Bronco fans on the win.

Do you know it wasn't a planned roll out?
That's why I said why did he roll out when he had protection! By rolling out Miller just slid off of Osemele, when he was actually being blocked. The roll out for no reason without duress or pressure caused the linemen to lose containment. And his roll out resulted in an incompletion. It's different if u roll out the pocket unplanned away from blockers ( that were blocking for once) and create a play a downfield.

Agreed. But so is Billy Cundiff. I'm convinced if he tied it up, we would've won. Flacco just out-played Brady in that game.

What about Ray Rice brilliant player, but Pierce is a beast. If the Ravens do keep Flacco do they trade Rice ? Sounds crazy huh ? Well he doesn't match up with Flacco. Flacco's short game is slow and plodding and Rice could destroy in a short game with the right line and offensive scheme. I'm just saying this if they did turn out keeping Joe.

Why? So we can get embarrassed in the playoffs? It's gonna take a heck of a lot more than just Ray Lewis to help us get to the Super Bowl. We'd have to find the apple of life and give it to Webb so it could magically cure his ACL tear and even then it would be a long shot. Just no pass rush for us.
I'm just as close to "giving up" as much as the next guy around here - but I'd rather we have some sort of chance (as in the other teams shooting themselves in the foot - because that's what it would take) at the play-offs than none at all.

On positive note, Giants looking horrible today, so maybe we can get a win next week.

My girlfriend is from St. Marys, Georgia and is a U of GA graduate. She loves the Falcons, too. I'm going to side with her when I say that Flacco isn't in the same league with elite QBs. She really hung in there today at M & T, but I was so embarrassed for the Ravens.

Anyone wonder how hard Cam laughed today?

Nope. Player execution killed us today.

Yeah, when the QB fumbles the ball on a sneak, you know it's not going to be a good game.

Let's look at the facts. Let's just say we knock off the Giants and the Steelers bump the Bengals. We still will need to kick the Bengals furry tails to regain some honor and dignity.

Worst part is that I (thanks to the Jack Daniels) promised to go to see a Falcons playoff game with her family. Turn about is fair play I reckon.
