Yeah, however this season ends, Superbowl or somehow missing the playoffs, I'm all for trading up for a higher pick to get a real star player. I know that *no* player is a guaranteed star (Russel, Leaf, etc) and I'm not saying a QB either, just that ONE rookie that will help get us noticed, get us competetive. I'm not saying a Luck or an RGIII, but how about a Julio Jones or a Patrick Peterson?

Well Watching Adrien Peterson run on the other game has made me smile some. Since Flacco messed up my day with that opening fumble and that Pick 6.

The defense played strong through most of the first half when the offense didn't get a first down until the middle of second qtr

Not only were they doing a great over all job but they contained Peyton only for Joe to throw a pick 6 at the nd of the half and fumble when the offense could have at least gotten away with a fg. Don't try to pin this [profanity deleted] on the defense. If you want to take shots at the o line, cool, but the d did their job today and they weren't playing some scrub qb. The defense is ravaged with injuries, what's the offenses excuse?

Why? So we can get embarrassed in the playoffs? It's gonna take a heck of a lot more than just Ray Lewis to help us get to the Super Bowl. We'd have to find the apple of life and give it to Webb so it could magically cure his ACL tear and even then it would be a long shot. Just no pass rush for us.
