I absolutely agree.

Here's the thing that bugs me....you see teams like the Patriots go out and acquire players that are there for a good asking price, see Talib, Aqib, what'd they give up a 3rd rounder? For a player of his caliber? Aside from attitude concerns, a very talented player?? And look at the success he's had there!

Whereas, it seems like the Ravens are always quiet in FA/trade deadlines because our FO covets picks so much. I mean, I definitely understand that reasoning, any one of those players could turn out to be a gem. But if there are talented players available, with proven NFL resumes, get them! These college players, you never know how they will pan out. Veteran NFL players have played in this league!

Sorry to rant but that just always annoys me. I really, sincerely hope we make a run at Bowe/Jake Long
