I still think WE should have made a serious push to get manning in the off season, it would have shown we were serious about getting to the superbowl.....

God lord stop hanging on Manning you know what!! All the flack on the ravens is just angering our fans and players. I wish i was a the game but hopefully which ever Ravens fan goes to the game you need to screeeammmmmmm on every single possession that manning has so his teammates wont hear the audibles. We the fans have to be a factor just screeeammm your butts off. Yea watch out for our offense something about flaccos press conference when he talked about running the no huddle offense more brought chills like he has been begging for it i cant wait. our team is disammated with injuries its time for us to be lethal. Defense will show up we will jimmy smith, lewis and suggs will be back back wait and see havent been much talk on them it might just be to surprise the broncos.
Let Kruger loose!!
Lets Go Ravens!!!!!!!

I wish the Ravens could have afforded Manning in the off-season. He has that Denver offense humming and D. Thomas looking like one of the best WR in the league. No team would beat the Ravens. He would have Boldin, Smith, Dickson, Pitta & Rice. That's any QB's dream counter parts.

12th Man will be huge this week. As great as Peyton Manning is, there's not a whole lot anyone can do if the signals, calls, etc. cannot be heard. Go Ravens!!! :)

Payton is a great quarterback no doubt but out of the eight games six were against the weak AFC west and all winning playoff teams he played guess what 'L'.
I agree with you sick of hearing about manning . i will be at the game he won't be able to run a no huddle if i have my way i plan to scream from beginning to end. I suspect suggs , lewis ellerbe and smith will be back could be wrong but they r acting shady with the iunjury status that usually means something is up . Go Ravens. the pats got sick of hearing about JJ watt and look what they did our turn now :)
Well we play the same teams they played, with the exception of the NFC East & South. So what's the difference in their schedule and the Ravens ?

Two critical mistakes in the history of the ravens franchise. Kurt Warner and Peyton Manning. They chose to develop their own instead of taking these "washed up" two. It cost them probably three super bowls. I wouldnt want them handling my money, thats for sure. You could have retired but well we missed that one and oh yeah that one two.
The Ravens are not a desperate organization, and they were smart not to dump 100 million dollors into a giant question mark. The Ravens don't make irrational, emotional decisions. Are they alwasy right? No. Who is? Certainly not the Broncos...remember; they drafted Tebow.

However, their wisdom has been what's made this team and org so consitently successful.

To criticize the Ravens for not paying millions to guys near the age of 40 is actually quite silly.

Nobody truly knew how Manning would turn out. Denver Broncos were in a desperate situation, and made the gamble. It just so happened to work out.

One of the main reasons that I love the Ravens is not based on wins and losses, but how the organization runs.

Would it be awesome to have the greatest QB ever on the Ravens? HECK YA. But we still have a darn good team, and our organization is run better than any other.

We have lost to Peyton the last 8 times in a row, but are defense had to carry us, and no matter how good our defense was back then, no one will hold Peyton all game, no we have alot of talent on the offensive side of the ball. This is our game I can feel it.
Have you ever seen pre-draft film of Tom Brady? Apparently not, because if you had, you would've thought what everyone else BUT the Pats thought: A lanky, immobile goon. Nobody would've ever imagined that Tom Brady would've turned out great.

Also, I believe he's a "system" QB anyways. If the Redskins would've drafted him, or you take him out of Belichick's system, he wouldn't be half of what we see...he'd be a nobody.

The stars were aligned for him, and to his credit, he has clearly maximized his opportunities. He was developed. He was a good listener who knew his limitations. Couple that with an extremely competitive spirit, and you have the Tom Brady we know today.

On second thought metal raven. Yes we are a well runned organization. But we are not agressive enough.

I think if we have the Mob controlling the team we would win the Superbowl every year or every other year at least! :)

I always knew Peyton would come back and kick us in the bum. Kudos to him for always finding ways to adapt in a new team and win big. I hope we win but the reality isn't looking too favorable.
The Ravens walk the fine line of between aggressiveness/caution, avoiding all out stupidity. Like the Broncos, the Raiders, the Cowboys, the Redskins, and in recent years, the Eagles. (They [Eagles] used be like the Ravens, and they became "aggressive". Hasn't turned out so well, has it?)

Ravens are always in a position to win the division AND win the AFC...ALWAYS. So I don't know where you're going with that one.

Regardless, I would rather have a consistently winning program, as opposed to a program that buys a super bowl for one year, and then sucks for the next 20 years.

Maybe #92 will put #18's light out early in the game and the Ravens cruise.......I have no problem watching Manning sitting on the bench.

Goldraven we are not good with Quarterbacks. When we get first round picks we blow it. We would never notice a Tom Brady or Joe Montana we would take Ryan Leif.

The ravens are a solid organization and they are always in playoffs but never an actual real threat to make the Superbowl. Better than being a Browns fan but also very frustrating.
