UPDATED: MESSAGE BOARDS CLOSING AFTER DRAFT   03/08/2017

After careful consideration, we have decided that we will sunset our message boards after this year's NFL Draft. Since we opened our boards a decade ago, the digital landscape has greatly evolved. While we understand there remains a smaller group of highly-engaged fans who participate in conversation in our forums, a significant amount of the dialogue about our team and our games has migrated away to other social media platforms over the past several years. Our message boards will remain up and running through Friday, May 5th, and will be removed on May 6th. We recognize that this change may upset avid members of our community. However, we look to utilize our time and resources to focus on how we can best connect with our fans across an array of digital/social outlets. If you are not already engaging us and other members of the Ravens Flock on our Facebook page, Instagram account, through Twitter or Snapchat, we invite you to follow us on those channels and continue to participate in our social communities. In addition, the commenting feature on our website articles will remain intact. Members will be able to continue using their boards account to log in and share their thoughts at the bottom of every news story. We’d like to thank all the Flock members and our moderators who have brought thoughtful conversation to this space and made our community great for the last 10 years. Ravens Social Media Hub »

The high number of injuries is limiting the defensive packages Dean Pees at his disposal.

These injuries are nuts. Can't wait to see our defense next year when everyone is healed up and we've got some young guys to freshen things up.

If Suggs and Ellerbe can return on Defense I think that will make a huge impact. If Ray is ready hope he returns soon as well, but I just hope they don't rush him back. Hope Yanda is back soon too. Offense will miss him.

The QB was rolling to his right, where was the rotation? Where was Johnson's help? If that happens this weekend, it will be a long day.

I hate to read all this knowing we have probably the best QB in NFL history coming to town. I really think it would be a miracle of sorts if we come out w/a "W". The only way that'll happen is if our Offense has their game of the year. Maybe Manning will catch the flu or something.....

Also Ed, whos been injured like all season
i think its kind of funny that our other defensive players get one bad injury and there out but ed gets brutally injured like every game and still manages to play games

This Sunday will probably be a fiasco....I'll be surprised if the Ravens can hold Manning and Co. to 35 points or less. If the offense doesn't show up the final score could be embarrassing.

That's why I've been saying since mid-season... this team should be a force in 2013. New offensive coordinator with a whole offseason to tweak the playbook, and many crucial players coming back from injury.

An addition or two in the draft and this team will be amongst the best in the AFC next season in my opinion.

We will need Dean Pees' A-Game this Sunday, for sure! But we'll also need the offense to help these guys by eating up clock and if not a TD then getting, at least, to the 35 for Justin !

Defense look good to me considering! Gotta make sure the Defense dont get any personal fouls on manning! They will be watching, especially after what happened to RG3! The Ravens Offense will have to help our secondary! Because of the injuries, ALL of our LBs can "Get It In" now! Swarming All QBs!
You know what? Don't be surprised if the offense puts together a great game. Denver's defense hasn't been tested too much either. They're in the AFC West.

Manning will get his numbers; but if the offense brings what the SHOULD bring, we can win this thing. Plus, Cam is gone now. So with that, there's a real hope! lol

Any given Sunday, I do believe that the team is playing games with Denver. As they do every week. Think how uplifting it will be to see the smoke, then T sizzle and The Godfather 52 come running out of the tunnel in uniform. M&T is gonna be Rockin HARD. I can't wait for Sunday. Bring on the ponies, Go RAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see this being a long road to Nawlins if we make it that far. We're really going to need that bye so let's beat Denver and hope San Fran can make mince meat out of Brady and Co.

Thanks Ryan! Great piece!
That was probably the best explanation of our defensive woes as I've ever heard.
Makes sense that we would lose a lot of plays from the book with all the guys who actually get to practice them, are injured.
Johnsons explanation of his gaff is understandable as well, now that you hear the story.
It's easy to sit here and complain about production on one side of the ball or the other
so it's nice to hear something other than coach speak.

It's also Caldwell's job to keep the offense on the field and the defense off. Every minute the offense is on the field is one less minute Peyton is on the field. If Caldwell learned anything in his short tenure here its give the ball to Ray Rice. Let's shut the media up about Peyton Manning. Anyone else tired of hearing how good he is?
