Don't see how Marshal going down would mean Big Mac comes back in. What about Bobbie Williams or Harewood- they've already got some experience from playing this season. They are the likely replacements.

Gameplan for the Broncos: Vonta Leach never leaves the field. Both for running (which I hope we do a lot of), pass-protection helping out Oher and Osemele, and maybe a catch or two. Mix in some no-huddle to keep their D off-balance but still stay true to running.

Michael Oher second in voting for pro bowl for the ravens? I understand his popularity with all the blind side madness, but he has not performed well at all this year. Maybe its time to think about moving him to RT or have his mom give him a pep talk. Anything to get him in gear! As for Peyton Manning..... Well, he seems to always have our number in the past. Even when we had a healthy defense. I think this is one of those games where the only way we can stop his offense is with our offense. One more win pretty much seals a playoff spot. I hope charm city comes out with some urgency this weekend.

It's amazing. Goodell wants to improve safety for players by turning the game into flag football. But, he wants to add two games to the end of the season and now add more playoff games? Need to get a new commish before the game is done for good.

Goodell is made of nothing but greed is he? Anything to get another dollar out of the most profitable sport in the country.

McKinnie lacks the endurance to be a LT in a no-huddle offense.

And he graded out as a bottom 10 LT in football last season.

WT?? Oher?? Probowl tackle?? You shouldn’t/can’t get into the pro bowl because a movie was made about your college career. Carey Williams?? C’mon Man!! Personally, I don’t see any pro bowl caliber players on the Ravens this year except Yanda. Even Ngata has had a subpar season compared to his previous years. He has picked it up the last couple of games but he’s been nicked up and hasn’t played great for the entire season.

I sure hope we use B. Williams and McKinney this week because if we don’t, Succo is going to be served up to Denver’s pass rush like fresh meat to a pack of hungry dogs. He better be ready to Run Succo Run!! And poor Carey Williams is going to look like a blown coverage to Manning all day long. It’s going to be a long day the Bank and I don’t think Caldwell calling the plays is going to make much of a difference. I just hope TSizzle and Ray Lewis are back on the field together and the Men play like their season is on the line.

It's not just Goodell but it's also the players. We are no longer watching a game but rather, 2 businnesses fighting for advertising rights.
Commercials are creeping into plays now too! How many times have we come back from commercial break (and always when we're on a roll too!) that we're sitting at 2nd and long when we left, we had just got a 1st down.
Years ago, fans complained so much about the camera man spending too much time on the cheerleaders. It got so bad that they hardly ever show them any more. We also used to get a pre game talk with players, reportes and get a full sheet of stats etc. That's only done for the SB now. They keep taking away parts of the game we love to fit in more commercials. I hate it!!

Don't give Von Miller the opportunities. Run the no-huddle (BUT WITH EFFICIENCY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!), use Ray Rice predominantly, and quick slants and drags. If Flacco is doing the stupid 18 step drops, then he's done. But if they run a smart, chain moving, efficient offense, you take Von Miller out of the picture. Use two tight end sets, and chip Miller.

Well, no matter on which side Miller lines up, take a page from Norv Turner's defense against T-Sizzle in 2011! Chip him with a slot Receiver or TE to give the tackle time to back and set!

The Pro-Bowl is a men's beauty pageant! Can't remember the last time I bothered to watch! College North-South and East-West games are more entertaining. You get to see fututre draft picks instead of Pro Flag Football in pads!

At the beginning of the season, I saw us as a 10 and 6 team this year due to the brutality of the schedule. I'm not sure which games I picked us to lose but I'm pretty sure that any given road game might end up in a loss. The games that shocked me the most were losing to the Steelers and Redskins. Hopefully, we win at least 1 of 3, but I won't be surprised if we don't with all the injuries that we have this year. I really don't see our team going far in the playoffs. Like last year, loses don't sit well and it will hurt for a few months until draft day.

Ed Reed usually gets a pick or two against Manning. Let's hope he can take it to the house. Ngata has to play hungry and beast out every single play.

if oher never had a book/movie written about him, he would be nowhere near the top of Pro Bowl voting. these people are just voting for elite players, go to the tackle section and say "oh he has a movie". don't even bother considering he costed the ravens two games with his failed protection.

Good to see Bernard Pollard receive Pro Bowl attention, however I don't quite get the Oher thing. I understand he has one of the more recognizable names in the league because of Sandra Bullock, but this is a bit ridiculous. On the other hand, there really are no dominant left tackles in the league presently. Joe Thomas and Jake Long have been representing the AFC in the Pro Bowl for a few years now. Initially it was purely on merit, but lately it has been more name recognition than anything else-- but that happens to the entire roster so no complaints there. I hope Oher moves to RT and becomes a Pro Bowler at that spot, and then the Ravens go after Long in the off-season; I know he's not the same player he was, but he is still pretty darn good.

Denver gets most of their sacks against sorry teams. Their D is overrated and their competition this year is a joke. Their 3 losses come to playoff contenders, Atlanta, New England, and Houston. They have 2 wins against potential playoff teams, with Cinci, and Pitt.

They are a good offensive team, and their defense is clicking right now, but who have they played during their win streak??? San Diego, New Orleans, Cinci, Carolina, San Diego, Kansas City, Tampa, and Oakland...
i have been saying this same thing all week .I think our chances look pretty good . I watched the denver oakland game manning "doesn't make every throw" deep balls he missed more then he made . when a defender gets close he drops to the ground and curls into a balll..........no clue what that is all about .i watched several games and i think we can do this .

Defenses get better as the year goes on. I think they have a great defense and they should have tracy porter back wich will also help them out. Its going to be tough sledding for both teams, but I will be there on sunday making as much noise as I can make to knock manning off his rythm. I hope the whole stadium does the same.

If we can get some pressure on Peyton, we have a great shot at winning this game. The success of Peyton hinges on the success of his offensive line, as has always been the case.

Denver is NFL's 2nd best sack team. As I stated yesterday, my hope and prayer is for the following: McKinney LT, Williams LG, K.O. RG, Oher RT. We've got our hands full w/this Denver team. Go Ravens!!! :)

Fan voting for the pro bowl is stupid!!! Want proof? Read this article.

All star and Pro Bowl voting should only be done by peers, not by a bunch trend following, band wagoning morons who no nothing about the intricacies of the games they watch. (Most of these voters probably watch WWE...and still think it's real)

The o-line has been jumbled so much this year, I've lost track as to who we are actually using as starters. I know we had been using Reid, but is he no longer starting? I thought the line up has been:

Oher (LT), Reid (LG), Birk (C), Yanda (RG), KO (RT)

Or have we been using Harewood again?

So many fans screaming for McKinnie - but do we really think his lack of utilization is based purely on the Harbaugh "dog house"? This deep into the season with this many shuffles of the line, one would have to think that it is what we see from him in practices that is giving us pause to insert him into games.

Very worried about the potential (and perhaps likely) absence of Yanda. If he's out - and we don't see McKinnie, then I can't imagine he's ever going to get in the game.
I totally agree.

And Goodell is a hypocrite, a liar and an idiot. He doesn't give two craps about the players heath...he cares about losing money from lawsuits.

This is NOT HIS sport...it is OUR sport. Without us, he's jobless. And the time will have to come where we fans will basically have to abandon the NFL to send a message.

I've said before that he's ruining our sport. I will have no problem taking my business elsewhere; because in the end, that's exactly what it is...a business. And if the product sucks, I won't buy it. And that's apparently where this road is headed.

This is honestly the first game in a long time I am scared to death of. They are strong at all of our weak points. I hope we dont loose 3 in a row. I am still going to cheer hard and me and my bulldog will rock our ravens jerseys.

I really think that Harbaugh was against bringing McKinnie back this season. He is a tad slow to be running the hurry-up, but I think that he has a few more miles left in the tank. Now that we have Yanda out, it's time to let him back out there for a game or two. Flacco is going to get shelled by the Broncos and Giants. I just hope he comes out of these games without an injury.

I don't get how Goodell thinks addng more playoff games, regular season games and eliminating kickoffs will benefit anyone in the league, other than his office.
No doubt - the "player safety" bit is a charade and everybody knows it. Every action and decision, as is the case in ALL businesses, is made based on money. Keeping fans happy is only required to the extent that they don't irritate us so much that we stop watching and attending games. Basically, we're junkies and they deal the drugs. What drug dealer is concerned about customer satisfaction?

As far as Goodell goes, he's had his share of debacles (replacement refs, bounty, etc) and I don't like the castration of the NFL defense ... but I'll give him one thing. He and ownership dealt strongly with the players union and got a deal that maintains parity and that is good for fans like us, who cheer for a franchise that is well run, but operates in a small market.

We need a powerful ownership team at the table, if this sport is to not turn into MLB, where all the talent is concentrated in a set of about 8 teams in a handful of large markets and the rest of the league picks up the scraps. I like the NFL, where all teams have the ability to maintain their identity. We have players like Lewis and Reed, who are our franchise for now and forever. That would not necessarily be possible for us if the players union grabbed the power. That point is significant and cannot be forgotten by small market fan bases.

I dont feel like Peyton Manning "has our number" Remember the playoff game in Baltimore against the Colts? We kept Manning to -0- touchdown passes. I'd say our defense had his number even though we lost a feild goal matchup.

Denver has had the luxury of playing the terrible Raiders, the woefull Chiefs, and the hapless Chargers for six of their nine wins! Can you say OVERRATED! CMON Man! Everybody is acting like we have no chance because of Manning! Got news people, this game will be close and probably come down to a field goal once again. Being at home, I call it a 34 to 31 win by the guys in purple!

This article while foolish to read is true. I predict a harsh game for Flacco if he sits back in the pocket and holds onto the ball too long. Ray Rice is our X factor for this game. Keep him on the field and Manning off.

Well, they are going to be saying "Look how Goodell screwed up football."
Its gonna end up like the NBA. No one cares until the playoffs.

The Denver Columnist is 100% right. But he really isn't saying much now is he. We all know how Bad Oher is on the left side. He is mediocre at best on the Right side, horrid on the left side. Big Mac, out of shape or not is light yrs ahead of Oher.

I think it all comes down to the money, remember Mckinnie did sign for a smaller contract with a clause that if he plays/starts a certain amount of games then he gets a bonus. That and Harbs. is just one of thee most stubborn H.C. in the league, more thank B.Billick ever was. Heck, Harbs. proved that with Cam.
