With Yanda injured, How would you like to see the O-line?

LT Mckinnie LG Reid C Birk RG Osemele RT Oher
Mckinnie is pretty strong in pass pro and the last 2 games the 2 strip sacks Oher has allowed were crucial! So how would you guys want the o-line to look like?

I don't know if we have the time for this to work, but I am getting fed up with Oher and the incosistancy of the o-line. I think it should look like this;
LT Mckinnie LG Reid C Birk RG Osemele RT Oher

For these last 3 games (or until Yanda returns) I like LT McKinnie, LG Williams, C BIrk, RG Osemele, RT Oher.
Even the ever cheerful Mike Preston (
Of course, you could plug Harewood in there, instead of Williams, like Ravenseconbeast suggested...

If we go back to the no-huddle, i think it should be Oher, Harewood, Birk, Reid, Osemele.

If you guys want Oher and KO to improve at all, they need continuity at tackle. They've been doing a decent job, considering the great pass rushers they've had to deal with. KO has more than held his own. Oher has had more good games than bad games. Some players just hit a bad streak sometimes.
Gino hasn't gotten a lot of love, and this is a time where he could get some playtime, if he's ready. He came in at RG at the end of the Oakland game, and while it was only Oakland and it was four minutes of playtime, the dude looked good. I wanna see what he can do with Yanda's out. I wouldn't mind seeing Harewood back at LG and Reid at RG though. But, Gino is the best fit at RG for our zone blocking scheme. Reid and Harewood aren't quick enough for it. I really want to see Gino.
But, I'm happy with whoever so long as his name is not Bobbie Williams.

He has potential at any of the interior spots. He played all three while in college. One could argue that he'd be a better guard than center in the NFL.
Did you just say Birk at LG? Come on man, think!!!

Snap out of it? Kid, you're the one who just said put Birk at LG.
Gino would probably be a better guard. Yes, he'll likely be our long term center, but he's better suited as a guard in the NFL. He's not a very big dude. He's quick and has good feet though, so he's a great fit as a zone blocking guard.
At this point in time, Gino could serve us best as a RG.

Ya i don't see Reid being a LT doesn't have the footwork, it's either Mckinnie or Oher. Just a lose lose situation ones out of shape and the other can't block.

Gino hasnt touched a field since preseason. I highly doubt they'll put him in O-line right now. But I wouldnt mind entertaining the thought of watching him.
