The Ravens should win the Cincinatti game, if anything. The Broncos game is far from impossible. Kansas City almost beat them. The hapless Chargers almost beat them twice. That game will be all about pass rushing. Manning has thrown his fair share of picks this year, when under pressure.

Almost only counts in horse shoes and nuclear warfare.

The Ravens almost beat Charlie Batch and Kirk Cousins.

We can win all 3 remaining games if we put together team efforts. The defense usually plays well in stretches but when they are playing well it seems that the offense goes 3 and out until the defense tires out.

Even this last game the defense gave up an 85 yard TD drive at the end but before that 2,3, and half of the 4th qtr the defense played extremely well after giving up almost 200yards in the first qtr.
While the defense was playing well the offense hit the snooze button also.

Peyton manning should throw for 300+ easily with the way our pass defense has been. But perhaps some of the injured players will return and add a spark because ellerbe definitely has been missed, Suggs may play Lewis may play also. Yet another week for McPhee and Ngata to get healthier.

The giants are very unpredictable some weeks they look like a Top 3 team other weeks they look abysmal.
Bengals are always tough Division game for us.
I believe we will win 2 out of the 3.

That was my point. Other people on here think that if you don't think the Ravens are perfect than you are a fair weather fan.

I respectfully agree then. lol

Denver's on fire right now, but I think we have a small chance of beating them, a slightly larger chance of beating Eli, and a much larger chance of beating Cincy.

i say we win one more. either the giants or the bengals... i dont see us beating the broncos at all..

Agree. I do not see us beating Peyton with our depleted defense. Otherwise it would have been interesting. It will be a good tune up for Coach Caldwell. The best thing we can do is to give the Broncos a taste of Peyton's own medicine --- the no-huddle offense. If we keep him off the field, we may all be surprised. Elvis and Von will be on the prowl so Joe will need to keep a blocker in the backfield to help handle the pass rush. Vonte Leach is ideally suited for that role now that he has shown he can catch a flare pass. It will be like a family reunion to see the old Ravens who now play for the Broncos --- Jim Leonhard, Justin Bannan, Willis McGahee and Brandon Stokely. Hopefully, the game with the Bungles will be a meaningless game for us. Buck the Broncos!

A 10-6 season for a team that has had so many injuries to key players would be a very successful season by any measure. Our best shot at that record is to win one of the next two. If we head to Cincy with a four game losing streak, there is no way this side of heaven that we beat the Bengals in a meningful game to them. The next two games will not be won or lost by X's and O's; they will be won or lost by Jims and Joes. I agree that Joe will have more pressure on him than he has seen all year but he has demonstrated in the past that when the going gets tough the tough get going, huh?

If the Ravens show up on offense with no awareness, the Broncos will be feasting on some birds. Dumervil and V. Miller will have a field day. I hope they get the blindside fixed.

I agree with this. The defense has been rocked this season and with the problems they've been having on offense, I'm glad Baltimore has a shot to make the playoffs AND still win the division. They COULD be on a 3 game skid, had they stopped Rice on 4th and 29 in the Chargers game. So, we escaped with that one. I think the Ravens will walk out of M and T with one win over a Manning. Ravens win by a slim margin.

The only game we may win is of course in Cincy but they have come on strong and our D has gotten worse since we last met. The entire NFL knows how to beat us now which is (just give flacco a chance to screw up) and they have a shot or run or pass the ball. In any case we will find a way to lose in crunch time to even the worst QB's. Almost starting to think Boller could beat us, OK that was stretching it.. LOL.
That's not gameplanning - that's haterrade.

The next 3 will beat us by simply just playing offense.

Flacco did not let Kirk Cousins drive down the field. Even if he knelt down from the 3rd quarter onwards; it was still the defense that had to stop Cousins.

But hey, what do i know, I'm just watching the games... :eyes:

Obviously, we have not heard from the nearly 9% of the fans who voted for "This poll is an insult to my intelligence and I refuse to answer." Just out of curiosity, it would be interesting to hear why they think the poll is an insult to their intelligence. Could it be their IQs are so high that they know what the correct answer is and think its a no brainer (no pun intended) or that they do not want to participate in a survey that would pre-suppose that our favorite team could possibly lose five in a row after a 9-2 start? Or do these eight (so far) supposed genii deny there is any sense of urgency about winning another regular season game?

It hurts my head to read this, and I don't feel like condescending to this unreasonably negative topic to respond. Good enough?
