This game made me sick. I am sorry but I just came back from the bar and the way I see it, I spent a ton of money, I spent 4 hours of my life and I come away feeling freaking miserable. We pissed this season away the past two weeks because now we have not got a chance in hell of winning out in the playoffs going on the road twice to either Denver, New England, or Texas (anyway it plays out). Barely making the playoffs or winning just one game in the playoffs is not going to make me happy this year after what I have seen so far.

Cam Cameron is a bad OC
Joe Flacco took a giant step back in his fifth season (not where in the vicinity of elite this year)
Michael Oher is not a good Left Tackle
Defense is not what is was in the past (injuries have hurt, so I will not blame it all on Pees)

I am tired of the let downs this year and to make matters worse, I see teams like the Redskins on the rise with RGIII and us on the decline with Joe. Nothing positive to say right now.

Where are all the people who were clamoring that we were 9-2 and need to lay off the team for its piss poor performances? I've said we were lucky in numerous games while others said we deserved to win. When you dont earn your wins your team will eventually be exposed.

You are right friends, we all saw this happening in the camps but Harbs has been riding the defense so long that now that we need an offense he cannot find a way to win. Cam is the OC you are right but if Harbs said to fix it i bet things would change and as far as defense, Pees is not a very good DC. No halftime adjustments, zero scheme planning and cannot stop anyone. Pees may be the luckiest DC in the NFL just for being here as he is less then collegiate material.

I at least won money today on your game, At least for your sake we LOST TO. BUT I am sooo upset ..how can the Steelers give up 34 points and score 3 point the entire 1st half against the chargers. We both have major issues. I simply do not understand how Flacco can look the exact opposite in Both halves......Even if you guys get your defense back......Flacco has to be more consistent somehow.

The AFC North is an average division this year at best.

I will say this about Joe, there were a couple of plays where you could obviously see the extra pressure coming from his backside and there were no adjustments by him or the line to take care of it. Oher is a big dude, but even he can't stop a lineman and an outside linebacker coming off the edge.

I think we need to start naming that the "Polamalu Blindside Blitz" -- cause it seems every team in the league knows about it.

Ah well, I'm sure we'll split the Manning Bros. More than likely, we're going to beat Peyton & lose to Eli.

Agreed, but RG3 may no longer be on the rise this year...

i thought about the split myself, vice-versa to be honest, but i'm not so sure anymore... pretty sure we'll beat the young one... like PRETTY SURE!!!... and the oldest might get burried under Nghata and Ray during one odd play... so it might come to being prepared for all their QBs after all... hey ho! ho! ho!

All we can hope for is to beat Cincy, but to be honest, I doubt even that will happen.

We lost this season in the off-season when we let that mass defensive exodus happen along with Chuck. Wonder if we paid him like triple his salary if he'd come back...

This Pees guy is a total joke, no wonder Belichek fired him. All he is gonna do is make Ray's last year look bad.
This. I never thought the defensive losses we had would be that significant at the time. I miss JJ and Redding. Even if they are getting up there.

Maybe we can trade away our draft picks for the next 40 years for a CONSISTENT qb?
There was a lot more problems than just a consistent QB today. I know a lot of it goes on Joe, but all of it can't.

IMO Ray and Ellerbe will be back next week, maybe Jimmy and Sizzle too.

Before this board explodes read this. I am pissed off, our D is dispicalble, and our O is run by Cam.... Need I say more. We let a horrbile team beat us, but we are still first in our division. We are in trouble.. .But at least a few of the young guys showed up. The way I see it
Fire Cam
Fire Pees
Fire Everyone except Oz, Jim, and Harbs and we are set.
Get a LT capable of protecting Joe.
We have a Sb caliber team yada yada yada. need I go on. I am pissed at Dean and Cary for giving away the game, and Cam should have been fired a long time ago

At least we get our players back next week. It's a battle with the smartest QB in NFL history. We need them back, but if we do not fire Cam, or Pees we are done. I the positive one say that. We cannot do crap with them. But we have a chance to win next week.
I awlays appreciate your posts, much like a couple other guys around here. Having said that, situations don't always admit of positivity. We can look on the bright side, but football is about a goal; not about the past - not about what already have. The team is moving towards a championship; everything else is just a means to that end, and every game that has any value is defined by that. Whatever else is just a "moral victory". I don't think that's where we are yet. That's the Jaguars after they beat us, or the Bills after they beat the Pats, or Charlie Batch after he beats us. These victories are just "moral victories"; they only mend a broken spirit. They remind people they're not complete failures. Is that where we are? Maybe so. I don't think so, but if were aren't at that point yet it makes all the sense in the world for the entire organziation - fans included - to be outraged at this team, because we know good and well that this team is, and can be, better than what it has has been. Or, we can just remind ourselves "Hey, at least we didn't lose to the Steelers twice", "Hey, we've been resilient.", "Hey, we're still at the top of our division". What will we say next we, if we lose? "Hey at least we have a wildcard spot". If the Bengals beat us? Then what? Every week we remind ourselves of something else just to hold on until the next Sunday. Then, we lose at home, or Batch beats us, or Cousins comes back and takes the game to OT, or our D doesn't show up, or Joe is inconsistent, or Cam is calling terrible plays, or Harbs is throwing illegitiment challenge flags, or we're injured, etc. In the end, you're right...it's the only way to keep some sanity as a fan while cheering for this team. We have to stay positive...but at some point it just becomes delusional, kind of like how Harbs acts sometimes: "We have a real special team" or after a loss "Man, we went out there and played our hearts out, and we didn't stop. I'm proud of this team." or something like that.

I agree Pees needs to go
Cam needs to go

OHER just flat out stinks! I don't even know if you can trade the guy for anything valuable. He just stinks.

We hope, our D would be better off healing for the playoffs. Last two SB winning teams were either low seed or Wild Card right?

The D needs those players for the next three games. Just because those teams were wild-carders doesn't mean this team should sit key players that could contribute.

Well the Packers were a 6 seed when they won in 2010, but the Giants were a 4 seed at 9-7 and the division winners. But still they had to get hot at the right time.

Harbaugh is not the problem, not the major at least. He's a terrific motivational coach, but he does not have any autonomy on the offense playcalling what so ever.

I mean, let's get real for a moment. Cameron is a terrible Offensive Coordinator. He's not agressive, he gives bad calls (like today one's, before halftime with 2 timeouts and almost 1 min on clock, he uses shotgun runs, QB sneaks, and costed us the winning field goal) and the most important: He does not have a good relationship with Joe, and that's crucial.

Another problem is the O-Line. C'mon, Oher can't play LT. It's against his nature. When he doesn't commit 5 false starts per game, he gives up key sacks-fumble (Steelers and Skins). Bring McKinnie back, who made a terrific job last year, and put Oher back at his original position where he shines. Reid and Bobbie can't protect and can't open running holes. Put KG over there, he was a guard at college. Why should we waste 2 picks at OL next season? We could use it to get our D better. Or just draft a LT.

Kinnie - Osemele - Birk - Yanda - Oher
this is a great line, let's get real guys!

I, personally, think we played pretty well—for about 45 minutes. If we carried our adequate play into the 4th quarter and OT, we would have walked away from that game with a W. For the past week or so it seems like the whole team folds in the 4th quarter. These guys need to learn to play 60 minutes of football, and hopefully Sugar coming back will help them remember that.

Not very Positive in this thread. Yes we've had our butts whooped the last few weeks but looking at the next week or so:

1) Jimmy, Ray, Suggs, Dickson, and Ellerbe all should be making their returns next week. This gives and ENOURMOUS boost to a pathetic defense this week. Plus with Ray back as Head of the D, he can run the program over the weak Dean Pees. Ray and Ellerbe give a boost to the LB's, Jimmy boosts the secondary, and Suggs (Even with one working arm) will BOOST the pass rush

2) Its not like the season is over, yet. These players can come back and we start a commanding string of wins. and also......WE NEED 1 WIN TO CLINCH THE DIVISION FOR BACK-TO-BACK YEARS. A Patriots loss tomorrow and the race for the #2 seed is still up for grabs pending our game with Denver.

3) We're 9-4. Not 7-6, not 5-8, and definitely not 2-11. We have a good lead on much of the division and conference, so why don't we take advantage of it. Use this time now to test new plays, formations, and personnel If we are to get better, we need to try something new. Now is the perfect time to begin testing.

4) Everyone has counted us out. "There's no way the Ravens can get it done with that defense" "Flacco is too inconsistent" "The offense is too weak." We have fallen.......to being underdogs. This is the role the Ravens love. The role they thrive in. When everyone says they can't do it, THEY GET THEIR WORK DONE. Let us now fly under the radar and sail into the playoffs

These are trying times my fellow Ravenatics, but all is not lost. All it takes is ONE win, ONE upset, ONE lightning play to change a failure of a team into Super Bowl Champions. Ask the Giants, ask the Ravens of 2001, they each had their own trying times that had them labeled as out. Now and on for the rest of the season, our Ravens can take control our their future and hopefully ride the momentum they create all the way to a Championship run! 2012-13 is not lost, for it has only begun!
