I think his insuring his health and playing soft. The money made him think otherwise.
I wouldn't go that far. McClain has never struck me as the type to play soft or protect himself. He's just not a difference-maker or even as talented as a guy like Ellerbe.

i just want one more win but im not sure we can do it with even more injuries (Mclain,Yanda) coming out of this game.

Needless to say ,if we get into the playoffs i think we will be one and done. Ther are just too many starter injuries piling up

I'm a broncos fan and its says a lot about your team when the fans are disappointed when they are at the top of their division. It tells me that the Ravens and their fan base have high standards. I am not taking this next game between our teams lightly. Your Ravens played an amazing first half today, have a great home field record, great record against my Broncos and finally a great record coming off a loss.
I still consider your team a formidable match up who's looking for redemption after a rough couple of games.

Here's to a good game!

High standards or spoiled brats. It's debatable. Thanks though!

probably 5th straight playoff appearance in 5 year span with 2 ticket to NFC championship should set up a very high standard expectation. If we are swapped spot with the Redskins season, we shouldn't even sniff at the high standard goat.

Are you drunk already ? LOL We are going to lose the next 2 against above average QB's and it will be because of our defense. If you refuse to cover the center of the field guess what happens, you lose. How in the world could you think we beat Peyton whe we just lost to a Rookie and Batch ? You are in the biggest state of denial. We will most likely go 9-7 and be one and done in the Play Offs.
I'm not in denial, I'm just hoping that some how some way they can pull it together. It may be unrealistic but I don't wanna give up on the season just yet.

But if we do lose the next couple games, then [profanity deleted]. Yeah, I'll be in the same boat as you.

Today the Ravens played a good team capable of beating just about any team. The Skins have beaten every team in their division at least once. They are on a streak and finding a way to win.

Next week will be the Ravens second toughest test behind Houston, and anything goes. Denver is third in total offense and third in total defense but still anything can happen at home. This will be a tough home test that I look forward to seeing. I am a tough critic when the Ravens blunder but I have no reason or intention to ever write them off in advance.

If the Bronco fan thinks you guys are tough on your own team...his ears would be twitching if he read the Steeler Blog site...........on what we think of the Steeler play today..LOLROF wow

as am i. but i also know how to give them praise and credit when it is warranted. i just hate the inconsistency of these Ravens and their inability to take control of a game and put their foot on their opponents necks and keep it there until the end of the game! this is the second week in a row that they blow a lead late in the game to lose it. are we the Ravens or the Lions? c'mon!

we appreciate the kind words. in them you have demonstrated class in your representation of your Broncos. we have much respect for your team and definitely your QB that we are all to familiar with...lol! we already know what Peyton, that offense and your Broncos defense brings to the table. it is going to be a tough but good game! i feel that the "true" Ravens will show up that game...they have no choice...they have to! so see you then...and welcome!

Peyton has the 300 yard game trademarked. He'll have his traditional 300 plus 3 TDs. Look at what the Giants are doing to Brees. They will maul Flacco who has the pocket awareness of a children at play street sign.

Hilarious. I approve this message

This one is going to be tough, even though we are at home - the Redskins were one of the worst passing defenses in the league, whereas the Broncos are one of the best. It will be much, much harder to match Peyton Manning in a shootout than it was to match the Redskins today.

We need to keep our emotions in check. This will be the most toughest challenge this season. If we can overcome this game, we can do anything.

LETS GO RAVENS, LETS GO!

I'm not scared of how our D will match up against Peyton........ I'm sacred of how our O will match up against their D..... that scares me the most.

Hell yeah. Miller and Dumerville will have the oline false starting and holding when they are being blown by. It's gonna be a wrap.

Is anyone watching SNF? The lions game plan has been brilliant facing an elite (possibly THE elite) QB. They are keeping Rodgers off the field and still moving the ball. It's working well despite their own TOs limiting the damage Rodgers can do. We need to employ this strategy with Manning to keep us in the game.

Maybe they should just start Osweiler. We probably can't stop him either.
That's what my Dad was saying. Just put in your backup QB's when you play the Ravens and you got yourself a win. As to the OP, Peyton has had our # every game we've played him. With our D this beat up and Yanda possibly out, what makes you think we can stop Peyton or the Broncos pass rushers. This is how I feel right now:

Hey man, thanks for stopping by. Pardon many of my friends here, we are spoiled rotten. We are used to winning better than this.

I appreciate your kind words but our linebacker core is pretty decimated. I think we have a hot dog vendor and a parking attendant filling the slots next week. Peyton has had our number for years. In my opinion he is the best QB or at least the smartest QB in the league right now. He is going to have no problem picking apart this defense.

When the schedule came out in September I called this one a loss any way. My opinion has not changed.

BUT PLEASE DO NOT lump me into the same group as all these doomsday people. I am NOT in their camp.
( to be truthful they are kinda starting to bug me. I think I might just leave the boards till later this week )

You can put me in the doomsday category, Ewots. I honestly wish your team the best of luck. And what K-Dog said is right. We are spoiled rotten and used to winning. My few Redskins friends always hate how I get so down after a loss even though we're going to the playoffs. They just don't know what we've been through. That team hasn't been to the playoffs for ages. The Ravens have been there the last 4 seasons and I think we're going again, but every time has been so disappointing. I just wanna feel what I felt back when we won Super Bowl 35 and I just don't see it happening this year. Not only am I spoiled rotten with the Ravens, but as a kid (i know really? kid sports?) I was on a basebal team that won the Maryland state championship and a basketball team that won a county championship. Never learned how to lose and come out optimistic.

The defense will have absolutely no chance if Ayenbadejo and Mcclellan are the starting ILB's . Ellerbe might not be ready and McClain injured his neck (although he was missing tackles left and right in the game) and could be out as well.

I suggested prior, whether right or stupid, that they might consider moving pollard down into a linebacker spot and put ihedigo in his safety spot. Pollard could run with these backs and TE's better than the linebackers and still is physical enough to play the run , effectively. I know a lot of the defensive calls have pollard on the line but usually leaves 1 high safety and reed clearly cannot cover like he used to, he isn't physically able to guess like he could when he was younger

I hear you! We know they blew it. The team has been clearly in a slump and are fortunate to have won against the Chargers and the first Pittsburgh game. This is the best the offense has looked in a month. Unfortunately a blunder here and a blunder there no longer works out in the team's favor like it once did due to a weaker than usual and banged up defense.

Not feeling all too confident in this game. To compete against Denver we HAVE to match them Offensively, particularly in the passing situation. I just don't see it happening.
