Week 14: General Post-Game Comments

I can only come in here and say we are still 9-3 and still would make the playoffs if the season ended for so long. I'm absolutley sick of it. Our Offensive Line can not block Joe at all. I have no idea why Harbs mixes up the offensive line so much, it's great to have players who can play multiple positions but you need players to stick to one position. That's why Oher is so horrible because he keeps moving around so much, he doesn't have time to get comfortable at one position.

I understand our defense has been injured and I'm giving Pees a past because of that but this goes on Ozzie for not drafting better and thinking he can replace people just like that. I wouldn't have paid JJ what the Chargers did but there was no reason to let Cory Redding walk when he only signed a 2 year deal in Indy that we easily could have matched.

Now to the coaches, I'm starting to think Jim is the better coach between him and John. John wastes timeouts, he doesn't put the better players on the field and most importantly he doesn't hold his assistants accountable. Cam is a horrible OC and should have been gone a while ago but yet he stays while Jim Zorn and Hue Jackson, who Joe was more comfortable with is allowed to leave. We have zero consistency at defense as we let defensive coordinators go without putting up a fight. Offer more money Steve, offer more money to keep them here.

This team has believed we can plug and play for far too long. While it has worked for a good period of time, we simply can not replace what he had in JJ, Redding, Bart Scott, Josh Wilson and Ben Grubbs with inexperienced players. It's simply not working anymore.

We don't deserve the playoffs.

Once again, every team we play uses crossing patterns and slants, both short and intermediate routes, yet we barely ever sniff a route there. What gives?

If our line can't hold up, why not some scramble drills and more screens too? Cam where are you?We need these plays more often in our offense

Any other OC would have dialed up side line passes to the WRers so they can step out of bounds just so we can get in FG range.......our coaches dont think that far.

Honestly, this team takes losses terribly. Flacco was saying hey we lost but we're still 9-3, so this week will he say hey were still 9-4? When we are 9-7 and out of the playoffs what will he say then, thank god its over?

This team needs a shakeup, badly, Lewis coming back aint gonna do it.

To my fellow Ravens board posters, I know were all sick to our stomachs about this.I can't even put into words what I just saw.I'm still shell shocked and will be shellshocked for the rest of the week.I really though we had it but we couldn't close the deal. This game is over and as mad as we are the season goes on.We got Denver coming up and we have to focus on them.As much as Cam and Dean need to go, we have to come to terms that that won't happen especially with Harbs backing the two of them all the time. What I saw the last two weeks was a team that played undisciplined and clearly no heart at times on that last drive.While I gotta admit were not as good as I thought I still think we will make the playoffs.With Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs seeing what the just saw I know that theyre pissed and are gonna be ready to play. I understand that its Peyton and he has are number but non of that matters as its a different team he plays for.Its gonna be a battle but I think that after this Redskins loss(which never should have happened),this team finally realizes that they can't just win on reputation and talent.I hope that it's the wake-up call that we finally need(more so than the texans game).

Actually 9-7 would still give us a playoff berth as even if we lose out at 9-7, we hold tiebreakers over the other teams that would give us the 6th Seed at worst.

Aside from a few people here, no one is saying they are no longer fans. Most of us are just saying that we're tired of seeing the same stupid decisions over and over again.
