Is this an offense-first team or a defense-first team? The Ravens are averaging 33.5 points the past four games.
Power Ranking or NFL Ranking! Which one is better? One is based on fact and the other is based on opinion! We all know what they say about opinion's. Real Rank is earned out on the field in between the whistle and the lines. ;)

I think around the #12/#13 spot is where I think we sit. I have heard on the radio (I lived near Baltimore) that the Ravens are ranked #3 OVERALL! Another one where we are ranked #5!

The teams we were behind when we were ranked #3 were:
1.Giants
2.Titans
3.RAVENS!

I certainly don't either. It's unbelievable that they STILL spend most of their time talking about the Cowboys and Patriots, even though neither team is all that.

Amen to that.

At the end of the day, top-ten ranking or not, this team is 6-3 and tied for 1st place in the division -- I'll take 1st place in the division over 1st place on SI.com or ESPN any day. :)

Although I don't buy the "Ravens haven't beat anyone" argument, it's true that we don't technically
have a win against a top tier team, only wins vs. PIT and TEN which the refs stole from us with
the Mason foot-drag catch called out vs. PIT and the bloodcurdling Suggs call vs. TEN.

If we can outphysical the Giants like we should, you can put us in the top five fo sho.

We could really use Landry and McAlister in this game, I'm worried that guys like Leonhard, Rolle,
and Washington could get one truck from Jacobs and be out for the game. Of course, even
being a tough safety like Dawan didn't stop Jamal's big thigh from bashing his neck in.

I think we're currently about no. 6 based mostly on being among the league's hottest teams.
We should be more like 20, with the team's woes last year, rookie QB, young OL with no
Ogden, all our injuries. Harbaugh, Cameron, and Flacco are most of the difference, give
'em credit.

I've been putting one up since week 4 and have the ravens at 8. To me, power is relative, and has a lot to do with likeliehood to be in the playoffs with 6 weeks now remaining. Once you get there, everything changes, but I am giving a lot of weight to position within the division and ultimately the playoff picture, and also tryign to evalute the remaining shedules too. Here are my to 10:

Hey, anyone else notice this Jim Leonhard kid? Seems like week after week he's making plays on def and sp. teams.

Man, if the refs make any shady calls this game...well I'm gonna be real real mad!

stop the run early and I think we can force Eli to throw some ints.

I think this is just gonna be one rough game either way.
