Game Threads

I like them, but in the days before the game you have two: One in Ravens Talk and the other the official game thread.
Wouldn't it be better if everything was in one place?
Just a thought.

The one in Ravens Talk is a "pre-game" thread. It ends when the game starts. The official Game Thread is supposed to be used to discuss the game in process and is pulled into the GameDay section of the site. Since both threads get quite long, they can become unmanageable if we tried running one thread all week and then into the game. Long threads seem to mess with the software sometimes.

The thread in the GameDay forum usually goes up around 1pm the Friday before and we also ask people to not post animated .Gifs and sigs because that also slows down the threads and load times. We also stop threads in Ravens Talk during the game to keep all the elation and agony in one place.
