Pats look pretty solid. I dont see the Pats losing the rest of the regular season. Makes the Ravens shoot-out win against Brady look pointless unfortunately.

Have to say, I smiled just a little when the Pats scored 40+. All the Texan trolls visiting the board, talking smack post-meltdown in Houston. Karma? Maybe
Pointless for seeding, unfortunately. But as I stated earlier, the Pats are the one team I don't fear.

Looking at the Houston board's GameDay thread, you'd think they just got kicked out of the playoffs.

Funny thing about this game, I told my co-workers I had no desire to watch it because I knew one of two things were going to happen. Either the Texans Defense was going to keep Brady on his back all evening -- or Brady was going to shred them to pieces.

I'm glad I was able to spend the entire game here with you folks, chatting away.

I guess the next time the Texans are down 28-0, they'll think twice before scoring again. 42-7. Yeesh.

Houston is a good team but they clearly cannot handle the spotlight. I wouldn't mind playing them in primetime, where we were undefeated this year.

From Rotoworld, Oakland restructured Richard Seymour's contract which turned his $7.5 Million Guaranteed base salary into $925,000 base. In turn, the final 4 years and $30 Million have been voided making Seymour a UFA at the end of the season.

So much for the Texans being elite... Chad Henne and Justin Blackmon must have laughed themselves to sleep watching this. Throw in Matt Ryan, too.

Once again, the blueprint for beating the Texans and Wade Philips defense - throw quick routes to the middle, SPREAD THEM OUT, neutralize their pass rush by not giving them time to get to your quarterback. What did we do... Joe, stand back there all day while Q and Torrey run 50 yards down the sideline, you're tough enough to take the punishment that we all know is coming. Ray, you've run the ball to the right side 5 times in a row, how about a 6th, they'll NEVER see that one coming. We tried to beat the Texans based on skill alone, and I don't think anyone in the league can do that. You have to create matchups and outthink Wade Philips. Here's hoping that if we face them again, Caldwell and Joe will have a great gameplan figured out.
