Schefter and other reports are saying Todd Heap was released by the Arizona Cardinals. Looks like he hasn't played since week 2, so it's more than likely due to injuries.

Poor guy. Did wonders in Baltimore -- never really heard of him afterwards. Sincerely wishing him the best.

Just saw this, he's been injured all year basically. I think he's set for retirement then the Ravens ROH.

Todd Heap has been injured since the moment he came out of his mama.

This. He's too injury prone to be valuable to any team, even though I wouldn't be surprised if we brought him back.

If the guy believed in modern medicine... who knows what he could have been! He and Joe were a nice complement . Just stroll off into the sunset, Todd. Baltimore will ALWAYS love you!

I'm all for signing him to a one day contract so that he can retire as a Raven. Is this what you meant? : )

If we did it with Mason, I don't see how we won't with Heap. Unless Heap burned any bridges (which I would find hard to believe).

I feel kinda bad for him. He could have had a HOF career if not for the injuries.
