Why would we be looking to change D-Coordinators? We've gone through 4 in 5 years and we've finished top 10 in PPG allowed every year. Right now we're 8th in points and separated from the number 5 team by 1 PPG, even though our passing and rushing YPG are terrible. We're without our best CB and pash rusher as well.

I believe Pees can excel as the DC! At least he LEARNS from past mistakes! After the BYE week, the month of Nov we had the best defense in the league -- AND that's with SIGNIFICANT number of injuries! No sense in changing when you see IMPROVEMENT and you see things going in the right direction! However, Cam is another story!

Something like 7th in points against and 1st or 2nd in RZ D. And thats with no "leader" on the field, Webb out, Suggs basically out all season and a questionable dline.

the FO will let this year slide with the injuries and adjustments. if they let cam stay because of a stinkin lockout, theres no way they'd let him leave with basically playing with a "backup defense"

Pees is okay.
Lets see how we finish. The amount of yards we let up is unacceptable. There is virtually no pressure on opposing QBs. And the secondary constantly lets guys get open across the middle - that has to be scheme.
I'm hoping this last game was just a bump in the road, and not Pees reverting back to early season form.
Maybe Rex will get fired and be our DC for the next 30 years??

I don't want him either, but what the hell does scheme or play call have to do with the offense converting 4th and 29? That's a lack of execution.

Pees is not the problem, injuries are.
A team with Reed, Webb, Smith, Lewis, Ngata, and BSHU, at full health is a formidable D, and with younger guys like Grahm, Kruger, Jones, Upshaw, and Tyson emerging, imagine what we can do at full health. I didnt even get to Ellerbe and Pollard, they are also an intregal part. That D at full health is either the best in the NFL, or somewhere in the top three. If we get a stud pass rusher in the draft, or a Jesse Williams, we are the team to beat, if we fire Cam to fix the O

Every year we have gotten a new DC, the defense has improved with time. It has been 12 games.
