Man, that is wishful thinking. Thinking a ('nother) defensive injury means we actually play football on the offensive side of the ball? Would love for you to be right, but me no thinks so!
our offensive was far more expansive when suggs was out. I don't think that's a coincidence.

If in fact it was more expansive with Suggs out, it is absolutely 100% a coincidence, IMO.

No way Cam changed his game plan with or without Suggs being active!

If anything it may mean we begin to open the offense up a bit and play more expansive to try and actually win rather than not to lose.

More shotgun and sugar huddle Joe calling his own plays as he sees fit

With or without Sizzle this is our only chance to go deep into the off season. After last week I would hope that is recognized. Obviously, we cannot depend on the D.
I think it was more expansive because it had to be due to the defence surrendering more yards and points. So we had to gain more yards and points, quicker and more efficiently.

I think tbh it comea more from john than cam. Obviously cam calls the plays, but I think johns in the play good d and don't lose the game on offense.

That only gets you so far.

I would love to believe and think they game plan individually for each game, both from a personnel standpoint and competition standpoint, but I cannot. They make zero adjustments, abandon the run early (drive freakin' one and then the entire 4th qtr) and just plain call a horrible game. It is so worrisome to see the same plays and same missteps every single year!

Abandoning the run when you have the lead is unforgivable .

We had this conversation last year bigtime after the Seahawks game.

Something is seriously wrong when we have to talk about this year after year .

I hope this does happen, but the sad part is, why do we have to wait? We should be doing that good stuff all the time.

Now that Harbaugh said that Suggs can play through the injury, which doesn't seem the best idea because suggs is already a shell of his former self after the achilles tear and add in a triceps injury , I can't see how he would be effective. My question is, with Ray Lewis expected to practice today, what about this idea. Keeping Lewis and Ellerbe at the ILB spots and moving Mcclain to OLB in suggs place?

Wasn't Mcclain orginally an OLB in College?

This is not promising :

A source with knowledge of the situation explains that, if Suggs needs surgery to repair his torn biceps muscle, there’s a window within which the surgery must be performed or it can never be performed.
If it’s not performed within said window, the muscle would never return to 100 percent

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/05/if-suggs-needs-surgery-he-only-has-so-long-to-do-it/

Longterm damage at the risk of playing at less than full strength is not the answer
