Report: Suggs Injured - Torn Biceps

107 posts in this topic

From Roto:

Ravens DE/OLB Terrell Suggs has been diagnosed with an "upper arm injury," but has yet to be ruled out for Week 14.
Coach John Harbaugh expects to know Suggs' status by Tuesday or Wednesday. Most signs point toward Suggs being more day-to-day than week-to-week, but considering his importance to the Ravens' injury-ravaged defense, it would be far from surprising if they played it safe and held him out against the Redskins.

Terrell Suggs has torn biceps. Doctors say there are some torn biceps players can play through, others they can't. Thus, 2nd opinion needed.

Good lord. And people thought this was going to be our year?

Injuries have killed us. The injury soup doesnt taste good, especially if you add the Cam Cameron flavor

Tough news, especially after Terrell battled so hard to get back. I hope it's either not as bad as it sounds or he can get healthy and return to full strength.

Ouch. Another major blow. Just when we thought we were getting some pieces back. Even if Suggs does play, it will surely hinder him.

Our season is pretty much over if sizzle is out for the year. Injuries have killed us. It just isn't our year if that happens.

Huh? Seriously? I guess you are not an optimist. Smh

We've been clobbered by them, absolutely. This team has some grit, though, we'll see.

We don't have the Packers offense of 2010; or the Giants pass rush/lucky charms of 2007/2011.

As Kramer from Seinfeld said; "Stick a fork in me, Jerry! I'M DONE!".

It all depends on the severity - Karlos Dansby is playing through the injury, but Jake Long is out for the season with it. It doesn't bode well, that Suggs is getting a 2nd opinion - obviously, he didn't like what the first doc said...

Rest him , no need to risk further injury ( if that's possible ) . He wasn't playing at 100% before and has largely been invisible in game before tearing his bicep

Usually, one of the components of a championship season is health. Truthfully, the Ravens and Steelers may have the most big name, key players who have missed the most games of any teams in the league. We are getting a lot of guys back and may be healthy by play-off time. Suggs would be a huge loss if he's not back for the play-offs.

This is ridiculous. Man we're surely snake-bit this year. I guess we're making up for a very healthy 2011 season. This is just ridiculous. I'm at a loss for words. How many injuries must we overcome? Who's next?

...please don't answer that.

honestly i think the biggest thing the ravens can say this year is "there's always next year" because even if sizzle is fine i don't see the road to new orleans being an easy one. but next year everyone will be back (as long as we don't have anyone lost to free agency) and we'll have webb, lewis, sizzle, ellerbe and hopefully there will be a few personnel changes, too. it's always darkest before dawn, raven nation.

If there is a way, that man will do it. He is tough as nails. I would love him on my team any day.

To many of you guys in here give up on your team too soon. No way the Ravens should cash this year in. Not even close.
