Top 10 reasons why Washington now scares me:

#1. It's a road game.
#2. Cam will still be calling the plays.
#3. RGIII is more dangerous than Charlie Batch.
#4. Pees will still be the DC.
#5. Cam will still be calling the plays.
#6. Harbaugh will still be deciding what plays to challenge.
#7. Cam will still be calling the plays.
#8. Pees will still be the DC.
#9: O line will still be the O line.
#10: Cam will still be calling plays.

We have to go to war against a real QB. And all we have is Pees. SMH
Fixed it for you.

Flacco doesn't go against the opposing QB. That would be our defense. Being a former player and all, I'd think you would know that.

Yeah, I don't get Pees either to be truthful. We were bringing pressure, playing man in the first half and we held them to 73 yards of total offense. Did he go in at half-time and say "hmmm...we're being too successful....let's change things up a bit".

you forgot...Flacco's lack of pocket presence and holding the ball too long.

If he truly a good QB, he will notice that in the tape.

they couldn't stop batch at home tonight. so there you have it!
They swept Big Ben last year but couldn't beat Blaine Gabbert or Tavaris Jackson. One game doesn't really translate to another.

I expect a better performance.

this might be a blowout...and not by us. our defense is too flawed for us to contain RGIII. we don't seem to do well against mobile QB's either (ben, romo, vick, etc)

umm...didn't we expect that from the Ravens tonight vs the steelers...at home? for them to have a "better performance" than they did in pittsburg? brah...at this point...this Ravens team is like a box of chocolates...you NEVER know what you're gonna get!" but they are my boys. lol!

Batch didnt do squat. He had 1TD, 1INT, sub 300 yards, Thats a dud.

But then you look at Flacco : 1TD, 1INT, 1 Fumble, SUB-200 yards. He got outperformed by a grandpa Batch.

But lets blame EVERYTHING else, except him.
Except, here's the problem with that logic, Batch did the bulk of that in the 2nd half. The first half they held him to something ridiculous like 34 yards passing. it's a bit more impressive as stats for one half of play.

That INT, all on Flacco. Have no idea what he was thinking there. He overthrew Torrey on one play (most likely) however, it also looked like Torrey would have been right there if he had kept going on his route instead of turning and coming back. Perhaps Joe, perhaps Torrey, perhaps just bad communication. Doss he hit right there, dropped it. Hit Boldin one, perfect. Dropped it. Torrey could have had that end zone pass that hit his fingertips (thought there was some PI there but whatever). Most of the second half he had little time, the O line fell apart. He should have run sooner on the one sack, he might have made some yardage. Yeah, he made some mistakes, but it isn't all on him. Cam does not give anyone on our offense their best opportunity to succeed with his play calling. That affects the entire offense too, not just Joe.
Me, personally? No. Because every time there's an opportunity like this, the Ravens fail to rise to the occasion (think last year vs. SD). This team has never had 5 straight wins under Harbaugh, and I'm starting to think it will never happen.

Ravens haven't lost two in a row a damn long time, I seriously doubt that changes.

Going into the playoffs 14-2 isn't what this team needed... they needed a wake up call. This will be one and it's right in time for them to win 4 in a row, head into a bye, and get ready for 3 more games....

My only worry is Sizzle's health.

Really? The beat down in Houston wasn't enough of a wake-up call?

What this should be is a wake-up call for us fans. Hope for the best, root for the win, and expect to be disappointed once again. We have issues that go beyond our play on the field. We have all our time outs, over 30 seconds and a great kicker and we just take a knee? And we do this all the time. Cam believes only idiots use the middle of the field, or some great superstition, because he hardly ever calls anything that uses it. Pees, I don't know. I can only imagine he hangs around Cam too much because he took what was tremendously successful the first half, and changed everything. And when it failed he just kept on doing it. These are things that we see (except Pees, but we had it with Mattison and they never fired him either) year in and year out. They are what costs us games, which costs us seeding, which costs us a trip to the SB. Even that game with the Patriots last year we might have won if Cam hadn't called that stupid draw play. We are, what everyone says we are. Pretenders. Until Cam & Pees are gone and Harbaugh learns how to lead and not befriend.

They're not going to win every game they play. Only one team ever has. The hyperbole over this loss is ridiculous. We have a two game lead in the AFC North, the tie breaker on the Patriots, and we still control our own destiny.

I don't know if its the loss to the Steelers talking, but I hope we destroy all the hopes and dreams of the Redskins.
Agreed. I think they'll lose tomorrow and we can truly destroy their slight chance. I hate the Redskins. Not as much as the Steelers but it will feel good to beat them.

I suspect they win tomorrow, and everyone is jumping on their bandwagon and off ours until about 3 pm EST on the 9th.

if we couldnt stop an in-mobile batch with a makeshift O-line i dont see us really doing anything effective against RGIII i love this team but my god this defense is just painful to watch no pass rush to speak of massive holes in the secondary just doesnt spell well going into the fedex field but i will be there to see first hand. we will need Joe to throw off his road game funk to win this game with a heavy dose of rice.

Our offense will need to put up atleast 30. Just my opinion.

Sooooooo. Predict the pass to run ratio for this game. Since Cam used the pass so much last game I predict we'll be 70/30 run.

[*]Patiots have better confernce record and are the #2 ranked team, not ravens despite the win.
[*]If cameron continues to not balance the running plays and not use our best player Rice, the Ravens R doomed.
[*]in the 3 losses the % of runs was Steelers 36% (with Rice 21%) , 21% Texans, 33% eagles
[*]In most of the wins: the % running plays is near or over 40%: Patriots 40%, at Steelers 41%, Chargers 40%, Cowboys 45%, game at Browns 57%, at KC 47%,
