I honestly cant stop laughing all week.

Ravens a 9-3 team are underdogs to a 6-6 team because of one player, its comical. rofl. This redskins team had no defense against the pass, its terrible, and only that will open up the run so we can feed rice. It only comes down to containing the edge against robert, Keep our offense on the field and score the TD when we should.

drink the kool-aid media. your darlings are in for an [profanity deleted] whopping tomorrow.

First off, there has been alot of talk in the media and among Ravens fans on how they didn't use Rice enough against the Steelers. What everyone fails to mention was how much Pierce was used as a runner and Leach as a receiver. The clear plan was to wear down the Steelers front 7 and Rice would seal it. It was a good plan, Ravens just didn't control the ball enough in the fourth through D or O. On to the Skins:

On Offense : The Skins have been built up alot in recent weeks, but they are a reallllly bad team. I dont' know if anyone noticed, but if Eli had connected on maybe 2 or 3 throws, that game is a blowout for the Giants. The Ravens should be able to run whatever they want against this defense. I would like to see alot of missdirection, similar to the Bengals game. Then Flacco can get into a rythm passing game with pretty much any throws they want to use. I would be very surprised if the offense doesn't put up 35 points. This D is as bad as the Raiders. Second worst they have faced all season.

On Defense : The Steelers completely shut down this team early in the year, there is no reason this Ravens D can't do the same. it is key to get early hits on Bob Griffin. Pollard should play close to the line. Let the corners play bump and run as these receivers aren't great as long as the defense doesn't play undisciplined ball or have busted coverages leaving people wide open, the Skins offense will be smothered. Remember this has been a totally differnt D since Suggs came back. He has alowed Kruger to rush free without too many double teams, which is what he does best. Graham played very well in the secondary. Carry has also looked better when he has been alowed to play press. I cant see the Skins putting up more than 13 points, 16 would be a real mirracle for them.

Big picture : Skins are going no where fast under the rat shanahan. they have no playoff hopes. Baltimore must beat peyton next week, a daunting task with peyton having 10 days to prepare.

Ravens has as much chance going to superbowl as any other team thats in playoff contention atm. The whole AFC has major flaws.

Its really a matter who wants to step up from here on out.

I've been posting on the Washingtonpost.com's Redskin discussion threads. They have said bad things about our team, our fans and our town. Those Redskin fans say we trash talk too much while they contradict themselves by saying very nasty things about the Ravens. They even complained about us yelling "O" during the National Anthem while I've seen them yell "Red" while the same anthem was played at a Caps game. They say that Ravens fans are bandwagoners, well I've lived in the DC area for a while and followed the last 3 Baltimore football teams, the Stars of the USFL, the Stallions of the CFL and the Ravens since they moved in 1996. Whenever the mention the lack of support in the final days of the Baltimore Colts, I always mentioned that DC lost two major league baseball teams and almost lost the Nationals had a couple of votes on the DC Council on funding for Nationals park didn't go their way. So what how we got our team! I remember when the NFL expansion effort to "Give Baltimore the Ball!" failed, relocation was the only way that Baltimore was going to get the NFL back.

I'm not guaranteeing a Ravens win this weekend, but take comfort in the fact no matter what happens this week, two things won't change:

1. The Ravens will still have a better record than the Redskins and
2. We still will lead the AFC North Division.

I will be in Landover Sunday in Section 453 wearing my purple and black proudly. I will support this team whether they are 16 and 0 or 0 and 16. I hope you do the same.

Go Ravens!
LOL I saw that thread when I visited them and I was like "come on". I love how most of them were like "thats so disrepectful, thank god our Nationals dont do the same thing"; made me laugh considering Bryce Harpers incesant cry baby act completely turns me off from watching the Nationals. The national anthem wouldnt even exist if it wasnt for Baltimore.

National Anthem was written in Fort McHenry. In 1985 the Baltimore Stars fans used yell "Stars" twice during the anthem along with O! I remember going to the USFL Baltimore Stars games in College Park and while there was some great football being played the attendance was not good for most games because:
1. It was not the NFL.
2. Most of the season was played while the O's were playing.
3. Not many people in their right mind would drive to College Park to see a Baltimore team play.
4. They were waiting for the first USFL fall season in 1986 in Baltimore's Memorial Stadium which did not happen due to the USFL folding.

Baltimore did lead the CFL in attendance during the CFL team's first season and attendance only dropped in 95 when Art Modell announced that the Browns were moving to Baltimore to become the Ravens. I still followed the Stallions until they moved to Montreal and decided to support the Ravens and never looked back!

You should listen to Dan. He's either psycho or psychic. I tend to think he's the latter.

Again with this again? Something is really wrong with you. Chill out, we are going to win the deadskins. They are 6-6 for a reason. If anything is true, you are horrendous at predicting anything.

Ravens will bag this one with a 'W'. Bigger games are vs. Giants/Broncos

Again with this again? SMH.

Listen to your own 'optimism' thread and just chill out. We are going to win the Redskins. They are 6-6 for a reason. If anything is true, you are horrendous at predicting anything and end up being wrong most of the time, so I'll go ahead and say we'll win this one @ Redskins turf.

Ravens will bag this one with a 'W'. Bigger games are ahead of us vs. Giants/Broncos. I'll worry about those games, but not this one.

As I stated... This is the one of the 2 worst D's we've faced all year. They are capable of big performances, especially against an inferior defense... i'm really not sure why the skins are getting so much love.

They have been playing a little better since their bye, but I don't see them beating us today.

The media has latched on to Bob and is doing their thing.

1. Robert Lee Griffin III, for obvious reasons.

2. And, well; Daniel Snyder is a money-maker. Sure, it's way too easy to make fun of him as the owner of the Washington Redskins, but the guy knows how make the team the most profitable franchise in the league. He knows how make fellow businesses and corporations happy and "the media" will talk about his team, as a result.

Darn it...

Well, on the flip side, if the Baltimore Ravens get Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, Dannell Ellerbe and (hopefully) Jimmy Smith, back next week against the Denver Broncos, that's going to be crazy and it will be at the perfect time! Good luck, Peyton Manning...

Uh, I'll give you RGIII but nobody has talked about the Skins like they have this year since Danny boy hired Haynesworth and caught flak for it all year. Gimme a break.

I wonder if that will help if players can sleep in their own beds on Saturday night and stick closer to their at home on game day routines.

Really, did you not see this coming ? Not like i thought but the surprise is we got beat by a ROOKIE with less then 12 passes in the NFL. That is where our defense is at right now. They are terrible and it will not get better i do not think. Wait though, Next week is Flaccos break out game where he will not fumble on their side of the field or the defense will not miss covering the middle of the field.

Th ebest we can hope for now is 10-6 and maybe 9-7 which seems more like it.
