I don't suit up for the team. I'm not on the sidelines. I'm rarely at team HQ. I have no effect on the outcome of the game.
I think I've only said "we" around other Digital Media staff.

After all these years of "investing" in the Ravens, I feel like I've earned the right to refer to my team as "we".
Yep, it's kind of like saying my wife/husband....you love them to death but you dont actually own them, and half the time aren't on the same team lol...

But Harbs says we're part of the "Ravens Nation business."Yep, it's kind of like saying my wife/husband....you love them to death but you dont actually own them, and half the time aren't on the same team lol...
Sure we don't sit behind a desk and make decisions, but it's not an accident the Ravens have won 15 straight games at home.

Yes I use 'we' all the time. Not doing so feels weirder to me.

Living vicariously through a team...
I don't think so, it was going to be a low scoring game, if you couldn't tell by 3rd quarter. Not taking the field goal was a strech... a far one. Not, that it really mattered though, if the game was an important one(like a steelers championship game), I guarantee Harbs would of not approved of that play.
We went into overtime because of Harbs, could of just won it legit.
You could say that about alot of the clutch plays.
But, imho we almost lost because Harbs thought it would be a good idea to go for it on 4th with pierce when it was 3-10. Ranks up there in the Harbs dun goofed standings.
Saying 'we' is fine by me. I vary between that and a more objective 'the Ravens'.

If a tree falls down in the woods and no one is around to hear it, do the Steelers still suck?

of course i say "we" and "our" about the Ravens. they are "my" team that i pour my blood, sweat, tears and energy of FANHOOD into! i buy Ravens gear (i.e. hats, coats, gloves, jerseys, shirts, etc, etc, etc.). i make the 3 1/2 drive from Chesapeake, VA to Baltimore for a few Ravens home games a year. i watch them on the internet when i can't see them on tv (like last week). i follow them through the off-season. so yes! "we're" going to have a good game against the steelers today! LOL!

I try to avoid saying 'we' but it's more convenient than typing out 'the Ravens.' Especially on the Game Thread, when everything's happening in real time.

Agreed.I'm sorry, but i hate when people complain about people saying "we". I had a guy at work talking to me about the Ravens, and i said "we" and he was "we? Are you putting pads on to play?" No, but I've spent my money buy Ravens products, going to the games, following them with pretty much every spare minute I have. I support them in anyway i can. I think I've earned the right to say "we".
