Anquan Boldin nearing 10,000 career receiving yards milestone

23 posts in this topic

I say throw to him hard and often. We all know they're going to double Torrey, so Boldin is going to be a lot of one on one coverage.

Baltimore is where he got his 600th reception. I think Boldin is going to have a big game tomorrow.

Get that milestone Boldin, and there's no better way to do it than against Pittsburgh. Imagine the pride hurt going on in Pittsburgh, if so.

And while we're talking about Boldin, please make sure he retires in Baltimore.

He should hit it this game. They will prob be doubling Torrey, so Boldin should find some seperation deep and/or space on some slants + our pass game is overall better at home. 87 is very obtainable!

i don't want him to accomplish it on the road. throw to him a lot this week. i think the steelers deserve a little history thrown at them once in awhile anyway.

This is the kind of thing you want to get at home. Breaking records at away games doesn't have the same feel to hit especially since the stadium won't always announce it and you don't get the standing ovation from the fans.

I hope he gets it today, though I doubt it will happen. It looks like he will get it out of town in the game against the Redskins. Good luck to him making it quickly. It would be fantastic if he were to get it on his 1st reception in the Broncos game.

He'd have had it if not for his stupid OPI penalty.

Yeah, OPI and then the false start. He must be working out with Michael Oher.

He barely pushed...the dude was clinging to himi before he made a move. SMH. Ref's change the game yet again.

As much as I hate to say it, it was clearly OPI

Sometimes Boldin doesn't know his own strength. He did it last year too against the Steelers I think in the endzone. He just straight tossed a dude off of him and caught it clean but it was clearly OPI then and it was clear yesterday too. I mean on one hand I don't blame him; as usual the Steelers DBs were just holding guys' jerseys, just arm-barring and I'm sure Anquan was getting super annoyed. On the other hand, wasn't there a more subtle way to get away from his man? Torrey Smith has gotten pretty good at hand fighting and making exaggerated arm movements so the refs can see he's being messed with, maybe 'Quan should try it out sometime.

Yeah, lets not be blind here. It was a good call.

I think it was a fair call. Though, the CB's were MUGGING our WR's ALL DAY.... Then, when Boldin has had enough, he flattens a guy and THEN its called...
