The Atlanta Falcons can clinch the NFC South and a playoff spot pending these situations....

Atlanta Falcons can clinch the NFC South division with:
1) ATL win + TB loss or tie OR
2) ATL tie + TB loss

Atlanta Falcons can clinch a playoff berth with:
1) ATL win + SEA loss or tie OR
2) ATL tie + SEA loss + MIN loss
I guess I'm going to be rooting for TB Sunday. Teach me how to Dougie... Martin!

Most likely. He's been on fire this season, though the loss of his TEs won't help.

Lol, what's weird about Bradys streak right now is that if it included the playoffs (which it doesn't), it would've stopped after the AFC title game against us, where he didn't throw one.

Falcons have been lucky this year. I don't know when but the Falcons are due for a overdraft fee of withdrawing too much from the luck bank. Thing is, we have seen the Falcons do this time and time again. They set themselves up nice for the post season only to sink in the playoffs. That's what I'm more interested in seeing, can the Falcons shake off the past and finally win a playoff game under Mike Smith and Matt Ryan?

This is not the same team... I know what u are saying but this is not the same team... Our D is way better then our past D's .... In the past it was mainly.. If our Offense dont show up top notch.. We lose... Our D is holding their own now.

Im not worried about us blowing teams out or not... The biggest thing i want and kind of glad is normally the hot team in the 4th quarter of the season heading into the playoff is normally the team that goes the deepest.... Right now.. One week our O looks top notch and our D dont... The other week our D looks top notch and out O dont.

I'm looking for us to really put it together...

Ive heard some "experts say the Ravens has been lucky this year with some of their wins... Im sure you dont care... You just want your teams hitting on all cylinders when the playoff comes.

The only win i feel like we lucky got out was the Panthers game... I can say we honestly was suppose to lose that game... Gladly we didnt.

I want to see the Falcons in the playoffs. I don't believe in them personally, I don't think their team is as good as their record indicates. The same can be said for the Ravens and has been said. I look forward to the playoffs!

Who could've imagined Brees throwing 5 picks! Now the Saints only have 5 wins with only 4 weeks to go in the season. I'll make a bold prediction and say they don't make the playoffs...

So now the Falcons are for real because they split with a below .500 team? What a joke. They've looked worse at home than they have on the road.

Also, I don't think Matt Ryan can be a legitimate MVP candidate anymore.

Brees: still better than Matt Ryan!
Funny that the Saints still had chances to win despite 5 INTs.

I know if I'm a fan of any other NFC team, I'm happy tonight, because playing in Atlanta would scare me less than playing against New Orleans.

They would've won if not for a penalty and atrocious time management at the end of the 2nd quarter to negate 2 TD opportunities.

Brees laid an egg. Lol

That's what happens when you play against a defense, that plays lights out. Welcome to Flaccos world Drew.
Nah, an overlooked part of Brees is that he has a fairly high turnover rate for an "elite" QB.

God help Flacco if he ever threw 5 INTs.

Now that I mention it, I'm pretty sure Ryan and Brees each have more turnovers over the past three games than Flacco has had all season.

Well, Matt Ryan and the Falcons DID win against the Cardinals when Ryan threw 5 INTs. Also, ZERO TDs. He's no MVP candidate.

Drew Brees now leads the league in interceptions at 16. Despite how horrible the Chiefs have been, Brees has thrown for more INTs than Cassel and Brady Quinn. To put it in more perspective, Cassel has 12 interceptions and Quinn has 4 interceptions, which means the two of them combined interceptions is the total amount thrown by Drew Brees.

Brees was downright forcing the ball last night. We all know he has the arm. But last night his decision making was horrendous. Plus out of 50 pass attempts you only target your best offensive weapon (Jimmy G) 6 times?
I think our teams have closely paralleled each other this year. A lot of close wins, a high-flying offense (at times), a struggling offense at others, and for a few weeks, questions about the run defense. Both our teams have had times where other teams' mistakes at the ends of games helped them squeak out a win, and other times they've been just dominant. And critics point to both teams as being lucky and having an easy schedule.

Right now the Saints are 5-7, and I think it's time to start considering how much of the Saints' and Brees' success belongs to Sean Payton.

Per Adam Schefter: Rex Ryan as designed Tim Tebow as in INACTIVE for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.

I bet Rivers has more turnovers, though. He can throw interceptions and fumbles!

I wonder if his 2 broken ribs had anything do with it?! Anyway, that will probably help the Jets' offense, because Sanchez knows Ryan would never start Hoyer and all the fans won't be screaming Tebow... OK, maybe some of them still will.
