Big S/O to Ray Rice, Flacco, Torrey and pretty much the whole defense.

O slow but - now we know - it's not to do with crowd noise. And Joe did fine hitting targets when they were open.
I believe the area for upside in the O is the receiving corp - they just don't get open often enough. And I believe Joe is the lightning rod for criticism *outside* the organization but not inside.

My takeaway is that Bernard Pierce needs to stop running sideline to sideline and just go north south with his big body. He went North South for once and got 12 yards. Then the next few runs were all short yardage towards the sideline. Hopefully the coaches noticed that too and stop running him the way they do. Another point is that the Chargers clearly knew where he was going.
Nevertheless, seemed like a great team effort. Blocking assignments did not seem to be on point, but NO TURNOVERS (except for the stupid run off the tackle on the 4th and inches)...6 punts but they did show some positive signs of moving the ball. At least better than in KC and Houston.
Probably could do MORE...MORE...MORE passes underneath and less over the top. At least to get in a solid offensive rhythm...Good Defensive Effort!

RAY RICE....that is all. And Defense, they played very very well today....i think we are getting good at the right time....
Folks, let's not forget the OL that gave Flacco the time, the WRs who all ran long routes dragging the defenders along, Ray Rice for his outstanding vision on the cutback and Q for levelling Nbr 32 just as he was about to tackle RR possibly short of the line!
No national pundits are talking about the Ravens, but is there another team that has the heart?
