Well, if he plays, then I would assume he is full contact cleared and that his own team wouldn't endanger his life, so I hope the D pins their ears back and gets after him. Either way he cant be at 100%. He beat us two seasons ago even after we broke his face, so hes dangerous no matter what. I hope that home O we hear so much about shows up.

Welp, here we go again. If Ben is back and the Dline can crush like they did today... I DON'T KNOW if Ben will finish the game. Keep that turnover ratio in our favor and we win, IMO .
They're crazy to bring Ben back behind that offensive line against our team at HOME. I'd be more concerned with the rest of the season and getting in the playoffs than this one game.

They certainly don't have enough life boats for all their bandwagon fans either.

So you think we're worse off than a team we've beaten twice this season? Okay. Anyway, Ben is going to "try" to play this week: http://www.nfl.com/n...-steelersravens

no im saying that, we had a hard time with Byron Leftwich and that same Pittsburgh team two weeks ago. Our offense was abysmal and an embarrassment, while our defense only got us out of there because the qb was Leftwich with an offense that was playing just as badly. The browns, a team we were infinitely better than, managed to do much better than we did on both sides of the ball against basically the same team. That shouldnt happen ever.

While Batch is bad, Leftwich isn't far and away a monumental upgrade.

Once again we get to see what type of team BMORE truly has. Here's the golden opportunity to put a foot on the Steelers neck and keep it there. There's NO one in our division nor the AFC that should be able to stop BMORE's destiny to the Super Bowl this year. In no ways am i giving up on our run to the SB. Nevertheless, reality must set in. Our year has truly been an injury prone season. What an opportunity BMORE.

Your logic is VERY amusing. Cleveland either forced 8 turnovers or had them gift wrapped... How many points did the BROWNS offense score in result of these turnovers? Once again, you CAN'T look at how other teams play eachother and conclude that those scanarios would play out against us....

Quite honestly the Browns were lucky to get out of there with the W. I mean our offense isn't great on the road, but even with that, our defense has really stepped up and if the Steelers would have dropped 8 turnovers to us yesterday, at least two of those would have gone back for scores and we would have scored EASILY with the field position they gave the Browns. The Browns defense isn't 'better', the Steelers are just in disarray at the moment. It happens to everyone. You're looking at each game in a vacuum instead of taking each for their own merits.

Thats the point im trying to make their offense managed to get 20 off of turnovers. How did our offense do again? Our offense put up a total of 6 points off three turnovers (if that was it). If you look at the average its about the same per turnover. The browns got a little over two points while we got exactly two points. Our offense didn't do any better than the browns...

Fair enough, but so were we. We barely got out of there alive and it was no thanks to our offense. I won't play the what if game. I didnt say they were better, just that the managed to play the same team better than we did (ie they performed better).

I don't think either of us (Browns/Ravens) performed the way we should have with our respective games. Sometimes you don't have to. The Browns got their super win of the year and I'm happy for 'em. For a week, Browns fans get to crow and feel like a real NFL team .

The Browns offense didnt score 20.... at least not on drives down the field... short fields every time, one inside of the 5...

did you even read the post. You said that they scored off of turnovers. I point out that if thats the case, they scored a little over 2 points per turn over. 20/8 = 2. whatever. I said nothing about the field position just that they got 20 off of turnovers and the average points per turnover.

You also said the we forced 3 turnovers. Which if you do the math (13- 7 = 6/3 = 2 per turnover).

You could argue that we just didnt score but if I recall correctly I don't think we were ever deep in their territory kicking those two field goals so its not like we drove down to their 10 and just couldnt convert.

lol. I wouldnt say the browns didnt play like they were suppose to because batch beat them last year I believe so the win for them is an improvement (at least by Browns standards) but my point stands that we were playing the Steelers like the Browns which shouldnt ever happen especialy if your offense is 7th in the league in scoring (at least I think I heard that during the chargers game, altho given the last two games I question my hearing).

If you look at the game minus specials teams their offense did better than ours did which is pathetic since they lost their starting qb. Jacoby Jones saved us, but we can't count on that happening again. The Steelers shouldnt be making our offense look like that of the browns. This isn't taking any credit away from the Steelers D or downplaying how hard it is to play in pitt, but 6 points on offense no matter how you look at it is pathetic. Our offense is much better than that, and if Cam continues his crappy playcalling, and we revert back to our offense prior to the no huddle, I dont see us winning. Its not that I dont have faith in my team, its not that I dont want the Ravens to win, but you can't take two steps back and expect to go forward.

You make it sound if our opportunity has been created by squealers injuries. The Ravens have had to cope with quite a few injuries as well, and have fought hard with the next man up. Hopefully they can continue to improve and take us where we need to go.

The reality you are not facing is that your team is aging and really doesn't have the # of quality players needed step in. You are not 3 games down in the division because of injuries, you are there because the better Team is in front of you.

If you want to get that technical, the Ravens actually scored more points per turnover.

The Ravens only had 2 turnovers they could actually score off of, the final turnover was with no time remaining. So 6 pts / 2 turnovers = 3 pts / turnover

The Browns had 7 turnovers they could score off, again the final one was with no time. Also, they only score 17 pts off of them, not 20. So 17/7 = 2.4 pts / turnover

Again, it doesn't matter at all but you're incorrect.

Well, I'm not sure if he will be ready to play against us but they activated David DeCastro and IRed Gilbert. So, I guess we will see this week what DeCastro has in him.

i was told it was 3/8 turnovers for the ravens and browns respectively so the math wasnt incorrect, I was incorrectly informed but I think we are more than 0.6 pts better than the Browns on average so I believe my overall premise still stands.
