Definitely not a troll been coming on here showing respect and discussing both the Ravens and Steelers in pretty fair and objective fashion. And youre right though playoff losses are playoff losses and you either win or you go home. So let's see where both the Ravens and Steelers end up at seasons end and then we can go from there...Both teams have potential to go far in the AFC in the playoffs. Just hoping the Steelers can survive this game tomorrow with the Ravens and get Ben Roethlisberger back healthy and make a similar type of 2005 Steelers Super Bowl run similar to the way the Giants and Packers have done the last 2 seasons...
No you are not a troll, one of your fellow Steeler fans has annoyed and aggravated everyone.

Why is this game at 4:25 when it's east coast? The Steelers-Giants game was too, I find it rather weird. To get more exposure?

Does anyone know about Ray Rice wearing a terrible towel over his head after the last game? I never heard about this until now but apparently it ticked off a bunch of Steelers fans and Woodley who thought Rice wearing the towel over his head was "disrespectful". I looked further into it and Rice said he traded his gloves for a towel with a fan to commemorate the Ravens-Steelers rivalry.

That was pretty much it right, just Steelers fans over reacting and making a big deal out of nothing?

Yes, it was a big nothing.

Batch has lost four of five starts versus the Ravens. His win came in 2007. It then goes on to say the Steelers are 0-6 without Ben, but does not give any time frame for that and it does not seem to jive with Batch's 2007 win. Leaving me confused a bit and I am off to work so can't research that more right now.lol

Pittsburgh beat us once in 2007, and that was when Ben played.

Yep, that 4th & 29 conversion was all a dream lol.

No but seriously, I never heard anything about it at all.

You should just assume the Steelers will whine about something after a Ravens/Steelers game (especially a loss)

Yes, boo hoo, we won. Let me find something to complain about.

Is that how you really think we act?

And the Ravens fans just say, "good game, you guys won fair and square" after it goes the other way? Why don't you as a moderator who wants a high brow forum set a better example? Of course Steeler fans might comment negatively on seeing an opponent use a Steeler icon...but after the story came out, most Steeler fans saw it for what it was and backed off.

I said nothing of Steeler fans. Lamar Woodley (an actual Steeler) absurdly and ignorantly commented on it, he hasn't "backed off".

He said "Bad idea Ray" and then reminded him that two other players who abused the towel exited the play-offs early. That is absurd and ignorant? That was clearly a good natured jab in the spirit of the rivalry. Your skin is waaay to thin. I know "fan" stands for "fanatic' but not everyone actually tries to live up to that. Maybe the curse backfired, Woodley isn't even playing this week. Maybe Rice will actually be able to run for some yardage.

Oh please!
A lot of Steelers fans are whining cry-babies who have pre-planned excuses before every game in case they lose.
Not all, but enough to give you guys a bad rap.

Easy up, everyone. We're supposed to be talking about tomorrow's game, not history.

And for those who are wondering (or care), the duck is taking a short vacation.

I don't see anywhere in there where he whined about losing the game. And I really don't think you want to get into a battle of "well-documented whines" after losses. It would take me all of five minutes to pull of pages of ref blaming, "we were better but we gave it away" type comments from the purple side in the last few years.

Good call...got the message... Anyone think the Steelers will play the same D in the secondary that they did last game? What adjustment will Cam make? The Ravens won that game, but Lebeau certainly had his guys coached up for that match-up. His plan worked.

Sigh... I didn't say he whined about losing the game, I said "assume the Steelers will whine about something" after a loss. :34853_shakehead: Don't twist my words into what you want them to be. I'm done wasting my time arguing a fact.

I think they will. For sure they'll cover Torrey Smith like a blanket.
