Jarret Johnson and many Ravens are still great friends, but will become enemies for one game.

That pic with JJ in that uniform, my eyes, my eyes, take it away!!!!

JJ will always be a Raven. Why are the Chargers #3 against the run? Because they are really the west coast Ravens. Why are we 27th?? Because management made some very, very, very bad decisions on so very many levels. JJ and Pee's being the 2 worst.

Our "D", oh never mind, it's not worth discussing.

This is one of those harsh realities in the NFL. As much love that I still have for JJ, even he can't stand in the way of the win we need in San Diego. Kind of payback from the last time we were in there and got beat.

We really have missed Jarret this year. He was easily the most overlooked player on our defense because he didn't put up big traditional stats. But its obvious that him leaving was a big part of our defense plummeting. That guy right there was a true Raven.

Our weak offensive line better come to play. They simply Must play better. They don't run block well and they don't pass block well. JJ Always sets the edge well so they just Have to open up some holes for Ray to run through.

Outside linebacker Antwan Barnes, cornerback Chris Carr, tackle Jared Gaither, fullback Le'Ron McClain and nose tackle Aubrayo Franklin all now don the powder blues.

^ all former Ravens with an axe to grind! wow!

We gotta win this game
I think that, in spite of them being 4-6, it's gonna be the toughest of our remaining games. It's a road game with a noisy crowd and an opponent that beat us easily the last time, is in dire need of wins, plays great winter football and means a long travel for us.

I hope JJ is happy with his place at Norv Turners country club. No way Rivers will be as perfect as he was last time. I bet we get 3 picks.

I kinda miss JJ. The guy was a class act and yes - he defined the term, "Play like a Raven." I am a little worried about going west on the road to play the Chargers. We struggle in San Diego, but we need to get revenge this time. 9-2 will be incredible, so we need this win to keep the playoff "bye."

Things change I was ready for the change, have no regrets, the D will get better. Johnson is still making millions so I don't think he cares all that much he is probably looking out for his retirement plan the guy is smart.
That's the exact reason I say we gotta win this one, I totally agree with you and it's very very similar to when we went there last year. Like deja vu. When we lost to SD it changed our playoff picture and we ended up being 1 game behind the Pats. Even though we came a dropped pass from the big dance If we played them at the bank I'm sure we would have went to the super bowl.

And this year it's almost the same except for NE we need to keep pace with the Texans.
It was bound to happen we couldn't keep everybody we tried to keep JJ he chose to walk. We're reloading I'm just glad we're getting better and restocking the D while winning a lot of games. We are still playoff bound with a good chance to compete for a Lombardi.

SD hit us in the face last year. This year is topsy-turvy for us with lacklustre defensive numbers (or so it seems... still 8-2!), and an offence that seems to be able to create big plays. We got to take it to trash-talking, loudmouth Phillip Rivers, and Jared Gaither and the whole powder-blue folks. Time to leave their faces bloody.

I like JJ and still a huge fan, but i said before and still believe that letting JJ walk isn't as bad as it seems. Did the Ravens lose something in the run game? Yea, but only because the guys replacing him are young. Both Upshaw and McClellan are really starting to come on strong at OLB.

It doesn't really show up in stats, but the run defense has gotten better since the Cowboys game. Yes Texans game included. I find it funny that commentators, media and fans act as if no body ran the ball on the Ravens when JJ played here. Bengals,Chargers,Giants,Colts,Texans and the Vikings all had success running the ball against the Ravens while JJ was here. He was a dirty work type player and he meant a lot to the defense, but so did a guy like Buddy Lee.

I strongly feel like these young guys are gonna get the Ravens back to being that dominant force, i say get used to those names now
