Week 12 Discussion (Other Games)

Thanksgiving kicks off with the Houston Texans, who barely survived the Jacksonville Jaguars in OT visiting the Detroit Lions. The Lions have lost their last seven games on Thanksgiving and look to turn it around and end that streak. Later we have RG3 and the Redskins visiting the Cowboys and as I mentioned, Patriots vs Jets on NBC to wrap up the night.
Other Key Week 12 Games:
Falcons @ Buccaneers: Will Tampa give Atlanta their second loss of the season and gain ground in the NFC South?
Packers @ Giants: A rematch from the playoffs and currently the Giants are in the middle of their down period they seem to go through every year and the Packers are on a roll and have took the lead in the NFC North away from the Bears.
49ers @ Saints: It seems Colin Kaepernick is going to get another start, this time against the Saints who seem to be getting on track after their slow start.
AFC North:
Raiders @ Bengals: Remember how Carson Palmer didn't want to step foot in Paul Brown Stadium ever again? Well he's going to have to as the Raiders travel to Cincy for the Palmer Bowl.
Steelers @ Browns: Charlie Batch is confirmed as starting on Sunday, and the Browns seem to be getting things together but just let things slip away at the end of games. The Browns are a much better team than their record says and have a chance to beat the Steelers for the first time since 2009 when they won 13 to 9.

I'm curious to see if Eli Manning's struggles continue. He hasn't had as much mustard on his throws in the last few weeks. It seems like somebody extracted his zip folder.
I expect it to, when they hit a mid-season slump it tends to last for a few games, unfortunately by the time we play them is when they begin playing well again and get ready for a post-season run.

He says the week off has been good for his arm and he feels like its back to full strength.I'm curious to see if Eli Manning's struggles continue. He hasn't had as much mustard on his throws in the last few weeks. It seems like somebody extracted his zip folder.

I hope Houston falls apart and decides to drop some quality players; then, it's time for Ozzie to work on his wand....Usually, I would chear for Houston, but for the good of MY team, I have to go with Detroit. Go Cowboys and Jets!

Dallas or Washington........Washington or Dallas, tough pick.
I'm taking Washington, after what RG3 did last week and how close the Browns were to beating the Cowboys, I have to go with Washington.
Oh and please Detroit.. beat Houston!

That'll make it easier for Megatron and Stattford.NFL Network is reporting Jonathon Joseph will NOT play against the Lions today.
Detroit may win this thing yet.

The Steelers are probably going to need to win an ugly game something like 16-9 or something like that. The Browns have looked better this season but the bottom line is they are still finding ways to lose games and Dick Lebeau is 14-1 all time going up against rookie QB's. It's going to be a tough game but even with Batch I still like the Steelers chances to win in Cleveland. Look for Ben to really push to play next Sunday in Baltimore especially if the Steelers win in Cleveland and the Ravens lose in San Diego and the deficit in this division is back down to 1 game...If the Browns have any chance to take down the Steelers, this is the week to do it, while the Steelers are in disarray. I like their chances on this one, though it's probably a long shot.
