Along with having to account for number 92? Sucks to be the opposing offensive line.

Krueger is stepping up at the right time...

If he can continue to be a force on that side... it will free us up to deploy Upshaw as we see fit. Reminds me a little of how we used Adalius Thomas.

Kruger (hopefully Mcphee can come back healthy) and Suggs is starting to get in football shape.

We deploy Upshaw and our pass rush may be peaking at the right time!

im worried about our offense now, our D is playing lights out, our D will only get better now,
Now why would you be worried about the offense, we are winning are we not?? The fact that they didn't score any TD's against the Steelers #1 defense shouldn't be cause for alarm, after all they were able to score 55 points at will against the Raiders 24th ranked defense...there is nothing to be concerned about....SMH and rolling my eyes

pfffft - 60 minutes of football and we couldn't get 1 lousy TD out of our offense - WAKE UPPPPP!!!!!!!

I was almost ready to write Krug off completely but these past two games he's been solid. He still missed a bunch of big plays against pitt but the hustle was there to disrupt the play. Sizzle is finally starting to rub off on him a bit.

Kruggs is a pass rusher more then anedge setting LB. We may need to utilize him more like Pittsburgh uses Woodley and Harrison.

IDK... but I like the fact that we are developing another pass rusher to compliment Suggs...

To tell the truth a team really neds three great pass rushers... so hoping Mcphee, or Ngata or Upshaw can become that 3rd guy!

I really like Kruger .
He plays hard and fast.
When he's on, he is definitely on ... and makes a big difference in the game.

If there is one "negative' thing to say about Kruger (and I had to dig deep to find this)that is ...

in my opinion, he tends to occasionally over-persue on his way to the QB; which in turn puts him way behind the quarterback and possitions him in an awful place to make a play. But that is why there is 10 more players on the field!

Krug's given a task to do and he has been doing it well.

keep up the good work, Paul! ;-)

Paul Kruger's coming on strong! The question was would he be able to become as effective as Jared Johnson was?

Well, Kruger's bringing HIS tools to the OLB position, playing HIS game withing the Raven philosophy and he's getting into a groove! He's providing pressure, making sacks, and more importantly, setting the edge on runs better!

Glad to see him getting into a comfort zone!

I really had a problem with Paul for four years thinking he has not big enough to play his position but I must recant he is one of the best defensive lineman I have seen and getting much much better he is so good he should make the pro bowl You agree?

Kruger's progression gives us a much needed boost in our pass rush department. He should continue to progress, which should hopefully jumpstart the rest of the D.

"It's where I feel comfortable," Kruger said of his current role. "Guys are getting comfortable with the scheme and coaches are kind of figuring out the personnel."

^ it's about time that the "coaches" figured out their personnel. smh!

let's go Ravens!

Kruger is playing his heart out! He is playing for his future as a Raven! Now I want Joe to play like it is his contract year too, especially on the road! Come on Joe, we still believe in you!

This guy is developing brilliantly. He's mobile and tough and runs right by the blubber masses who try to block him.

That is the most important thing that came from that article. Kruger knowing his role is huge, because a lot of guys can't handle being role players. They wanna be starters and leave for what they view as better opportunities. However with the way Pees is rotating these guys on defense, Kurger is basically a starter.

This young defense is getting better and better. Both Kurger and Suggs will start drawing double teams, plus a healthy Ngata will either face a double or destroy man to man, which will leave guys like Upshaw, McPhee, Jones, and Hall to work with space against a OG. If Kruger, Suggs and Ngata start to come on strong, that will mean teams have to max protect more.

The Ravens will be tough for anyone to deal with

Those sacks are more Suggs' stats than Kruger's, though Kruger has played well.
I get what you are trying to say, but the way you put it is a bit foolish. Yes Suggs is having a great impact on Kruger's production, much like Ngata's play has a impact on Suggs.

However to say, that Kurger's sacks are more Suggs stats, would be the same as saying Goose and Sam Adams should get credited with Ray Lewis stats.

Football is the ultimate team sport. A players performance shouldn't be downplayed just because it's aided by the presence of his teammate. Not saying that this is your stance btw, just using your post to point something out

as inconsistent our Offense is, do really feel confident and comfortable vs teams like denver, pats, texans come playoffs?? to me our D can make stops when necessary but only if the offense is playing like it should, now if u get that kind of performance we got in pitsburg, it will be just another sad year

Not scoring touchdowns in games like K.C. and Pitt. does add up to something. Maybe we're not in the top 10 for offenses, IDk, but I agree we should score 1 TD every game. We're 2-0 in games this year when we don't score a touchdown. What's the words I'm looking for...smh!

Doesn't anyone think the play calling has some impact on the way Flacco plays, I do. It seems that the play calling for away games is very vanilla and the teams know exactly what we are going to do. Home games are easier because of our great fans and the no huddle offense. Just got to figure out how to transport all that good stuff on the road.

You know I think on the road the play calling is too coservative. I think Cam needs to attack, Attack, and attack. With that said I would love to see Flacco spread the ball around like he did against Oakland and Cincy his two highest scoring games of the season and then the defense can't key in on Torrey like they did. Also I think throw more slants with your speedsters oh yeah and add some of those picks on the corners with the slants teams have been putting on us Pitt to free receivers up They use them all the time to get Mike Wallace free on slants TD 4sho, Watch the tape. I know also he may be a bit of a head case but maybe a HOFer like Ozzie can fix Winslow Jr's head and make us even more dangerous at least an extra weapon. He may even be faster than Dickson. I say this because this is the second concussion Pitta has had and it seem like Flacco struggles when he can't find Pitta. It's like the GP went down hill. The Pat's picked up a Head Case last week and he got an interception. I'm pretty sure Winslow can pick up Cam's one and a half page play book in a couple of hours.

You obviously missed my sarcasm about as much as Flacco missed the receivers on Sunday night...

But don't feel too bad cause there has obviously been 2 other people that didn't get it either...

Our no name defense is starting to gel real nice.Just in time to finish the year strong. Now, all that needs to happen is for the offense to gel and play on the road like we play at home. If that happens, they won't be able to stand us.Serving notice,"Got to B-More careful in B-More"Let's go Ravens!

He played with more intensity Sunday Night. I think being in a rotation helps him since he can go harder every play and deal with the run much less.
