Congratulations to the Texans' QB! Yesterday, he threw for 527 yd against Jacksonville, propelling Houston to their 1st ever overtime win in Reliant Stadium. This ties him with Warren Moon (Houston Oilers) for 2nd place all-time in single-game passing yards. Only Hall-of-Famer Norm Van Brocklin (Los Angeles Rams) has thrown for more in a game: 554 yd, back in 1951. Schaub also broke the Texan franchise record for completed passes with 43, coincidentally the number of points they scored. Andre Johnson also broke a Texans' record with 273 receiving yards, the 9th most single-game yards all-time. Johnson and Jaguar Justin Blackmon also broke a record together, being the 1st pair of opposing players to both have over 200 receiving yards.

He also had more completions (43), than the Arizona Cardinals had passing yards yesterday (41).

They still should of lost the game, Jacksonville fell apart in the last few minutes.

Great offensive line + freak receivers + guy who coached Steve Young, led Elway to his best seasons as a pro, and resurrected Jake Plummer's career, plus a heck of a job with Shaub, facing a pretty bad team = what we saw yesterday.

I still don't like Schaub & I still think Andre Johnson is overrated and has lost a few steps. The Jaguars secondary sucks. Is Frank Walker coaching the DBs?
