New here as well, just a few days ago. It's really cool to be able to chat with all of you "Ravenits".

I live in Western Md, just close enough to have nothing but steeler crap shoved down your throat!

Now it's great, I get to come here and visit and get really pumped up and get some good information from everyone. Thanks.

You know what they say"Keep your friends close and your enemies closer".

So BrownsFan, What do you honestly expect out of the Browns this year? You always play tough in the division but have been collapsing, as of late, outside.

Haha.. so true.

Honestly at this point, I'd say 6 wins is about the most Cleveland should anticipate. There's so many question marks right now especially at the QB position that it's just too difficult to say really what this team will do. I firmly believe they will improve playwise and performance wise.. it just may not translate to wins. Once training camp gets rolling around and key position players are established, who knows.. perhaps they can put something decent together. Only time will tell.

What about yourself and the Ravens? Not a knock on them at all cause they're still certainly a great team but do you think they can win the division again? I think they'll do well but I don't see a chance of them repeating their impressive play from last year. And not really cause I think they'll suck just because they played really really well that it'll just be awfully difficult to duplicate it.

yes it'll be difficult becuz of the opponents we face, but never say never....with that said, i say this is the NFL, a Place where ANYTHING and EVERYTHING can and will happen over the course of the season

and in the words of Theodore Rosevelt...." Do NOT tell me...it cant be Done...."

i strongly belive in his statement above.....so very true F.D.R. so very true and i believe that the Ravens will do amazing things this year

thats not a knock on you though BrownsFan by any means, i was just stating that ANYTHING can and will happen..believe

and as for the browns, i expect them to do better than most expect.. (more than 6 wins) jamal will be back to par this season....and if Quinn Starts then id expect him to do rather well (more TD's than INT's) and show signs of why the Browns Drafted him

Colts goin down baby!!!! DOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNN!!!!!

This year will be very exciting! Is it just me or has anything gone wrong this offseason besides the McNair case (which doesn't need to be worried about anymore) and AD leaving? I mean, look at all these offseason moves:

1.Willis McGahee signs improving our running game and we'll be using more 1 back sets for more receivers

2. Ogden decides to stay another year

3. McNair case dropped

4. Possibly the best draft in a long time, getting grubbs(arguably best guard in draft), yanda, and now gaither to improve our already athletic o-line. Yamon Figurs the fastest person in the draft for special teams. Antwan Barnes a very athletic LB that can play special teams and in some defensive situatiions. LeRon McLain(dunno spelling) arguably the best fullback in the draft. Troy Smith a couple years under McNair should be a decent starter for us.

5. We retain 10 of our 11 starters on the #1 defence and i think jarret johnson will be a very capable replacement

6. McNair has a season with the ravens under his belt and will be here for the entire offseason training

7. Ray lewis speaks out about he thinks he is in the best shape of his life

8. Hmm, what else is there to say... demetrius williams should get more playing time increasing our passing game

All in all, you guys get the idea. All i can say is this season and the ones following should be fun to watch (as they always are anyway)!

it seems as the season comes closer im spending more and more time on any site that is all about the ravens. which is weird considering im a 14 year old teenager girl with a very big social life. ahah. anyways, my dad has season tickets and ever since i can remember i was watching the games from in my room. and now i attended 4-5 games per season. On sundays, i seem to be using my whole day infront of the tv screen not only watching the ravens but the whole league. ask my friends, i am the most raven crazed teenager in my grade. and i can not wait for the season to start. i'll be at the home opener. woohoooo.

Welcome abord, Shorty. I graduated from Annapolis High School -- before you were born. Now live in Crofton but I do just about everything (except attending Ravens games) in Annapolis.

I'm new to the whole posting on message boards and wanted to say hello. I've been a fan since they arrived "home" in baltimore. I hope I can blend in with all on sundays and every day in between. 13-3 was great last year, but I cant wait until this year. Last year ended with a bitter, bitter taste. Hopefully we end up in arizona this season. Hopefully I can contribute to great football talk :D

Greetings Ravens freaks... and others (boo hiss-hiss). Just wanted to drop a line a say Hey! Good to be part of the eRavens! Here's to a great season, full of fun and wins, void of injuries and loses, and ending in a purple and black clad Arizona (that is where the SB is being played this year, right?). Glad to see the forums up and running. Kinda got boring on another h-hmm site. I see from the out of towners that Raven-mania is worldwide! As it should be. Anyhoot, yes, it's wooter, Bawlmer and Ravens! That's it, hon.

LOL, watcha know bout tha "HON" being from PA?!

No not at all! we didn't lose "to" many key players last year only loss that really hurt was AD!.. *sigh*. But for the other players that went else where we replaced them with fine starters!!. And as far as Ovie Mughelli (or however its spelled) our last year's FB now in ATL is concerned McLain from Alabama will be a better FB from what I am hearing about this guy and his stats. I heard from many other fan's they were jealous we picked him up and he was 1 of the best picks in the draft this year, and not meaning from just the Raven picks, but all the picks from every team. Anyways WE WILL DEFINITELY REPEAT THIS YEAR and Win the Division again!!. And as far as the other AFC North teams are concerned Cinci lost some key players due to "legal problem's". And then you have Cleveland. Well last just say they still have a few year's for sure ahead of them to figure thing's out. Thing's at the QB situation who to start or what to do without a solid QB.. as for Brady Quinn, I am sure the coaches are sitting around scratching their heads on who to start etc. No offense!! to Brown's fans especially my "BUD" on here who is a brown's fan(You know who you are) but you guys wont be going to far unless you can rely on your RB more then your QB to get the ball moving and move those chain's. I feel you guy's just made a bad bad pick! you guy's took on Jamal Lewis with his bone spur's and all his other beating's he has internally that he is probably hiding and just flat out just how washed up he really is!. He would be at best as a 2nd stringer! to pound the ball for 3rd and 2's you guy's should have kept Ruben Droughns as your #1 RB and Jamal to plow his big self for the short yardage plays. Also don't forget his pitty pat right up the middle that doesn't fool any team anymore or help considering every single team in the NFL knows exactly what to expect!.

Now onto the Steelers. Losing Cowher *OUCH* that was a MAJOR BLOW to the team and Porter being gone etc.. this isn't going to help the Steelers go too far this year!. Heck I expect the Browns to possibly go as far as being above the Steelers in this year's Division. ANYWAY"S like I said earlier THE DIVISION will be ours ONCE AGAIN MARK MY WORDS!! making that 2 year's in a row after this year is up, we will be repeating AFC North Champions!! fo shizzle!. :P
