Torrey Smith built trust, then grew from his huge moment a year ago in Pittsburgh.

I remember that play like it was yesterday. But this is not the same Torry Smith this is a M.V.P.type Torry Smith and this year he is one of the main pieces to the puzzle to get to and win the Super Bowl. Go Ravens

Too bad Joe didn't throw to Torry at the end of the New England game instead of Evans. They would all have a ring!

I have always maintained that Torrey was a star in the making. My prophesy has been realized! I have also maintained that we are going to sweep the Steelers this year and starting in 2014 when we sweep them again next year, this is no longer going to be considered a rivalry game! I know that will come true in 2014!

We'll focus on this 1 game for now, but Smith is for sure THE Prototypical RAVEN WR that we here in Balt. have been waiting so very patiently for, for 10 years or so.

this is not the same steelers or Ravens team from last year! Torrey is not the same! he has matured and turning into a great receiver in the league. my focus is more on what he and the Ravens will do in Pittsburg tomorrow night while the entire world is watching. please, please, please Ravens get the win! play balanced and with confidence and get the job done!

let's goooo Ravens!

Torrey was the man in that game last year and I have confidence that if we needed him, he could do it again.

Opposing defenses had a theme: Blanket Boldin and stop Rice and you had a great shot at beating the Ravens. Smith was our Stallworth the first year...fast, but not respected.

Now, they rotate double coverage to Smith on nearly every play.

Have you noticed how the defenses even react to Smith when he comes around behind the QB for a real or fake reverse?

If we could see the whole field, I suspect even the peanut vendors can be seen leaning in his direction!

Smith has become one of the most dangerous weapons the Ravens can deploy. More importantly, listen to the announcers on Sundays and you will hear at least one mention about how Torrey is not a diva, but a humble, hard-working player.

A Raven!

That game was a nail-biter, I remember standing the last few plays and us winning with that reception, I couldn't sleep at all that night!
