We'll here let me try to explain this is what annoys Flacco critics. To sum it up (fans) that can't see past the fact that he is still learning the game, and for his fifth year in the league he still looks like a 3rd year guy. Flacco has all the potential in the world, everyone can see that, I just wish he would start living up to it.

1. He still holds on to the ball to long,
2.His pocket awarness is spotty, but getting better,
3.Scrambling is decent just doesn't do it enough.

All and all he still needs alot of work. 3rd and 2 in Pitt, final drive, and you don't complete a pass to wide open targets? Play it safe and take the sack was the right play, if you are playing not to lose. If you make the play you win the game. If Ben was playing, we probably don't win that game. Our local media not even asking questions about his poor road play makes me angry as well. I would like to think that we have writers and reporters that will answer questions predicated on what they think the fans wanna know.

Every QB that's come through the NFL was still learning the game in their 5th year. Any QB who wasn't was a likely bust and spending Sundays in street clothes. I don't see how he still looks like a "third year guy" but that's a pointless debate.

1. He holds onto the ball "too long" mostly because of the routes that are being called. If he's not the leader by a sizeable margin, he's easily been among the top three in terms of deep ball attempts since he was drafted. Deep routes take time to develop. I don't know how some fans don't understand this after five years of the same general offense.

2. I actually agree there.

3. Agreed again. His athleticism is the most underrated part of his game. I wish he'd use his legs more often.

I would have loved to seen him attempt a pass on the last 3rd and short. However, no one was open. Torrey only broke back at the end of the play, when the pocket was collpasing. Q and Jacoby were bottled up and I think Dickson ran down the seam. Forcing it to any of them could have easily resulted in a pick.

Writers have their owns agendas. And I can't blame some of the Baltimore writers for not asking tough questions. Harbaugh is a "coach speak" master.

Joe can't be all bad if we have an 8-2 record with one of the worst defenses in the league .

I blame alot but not all of his problems in away games on Cam and the fact that we have a lousy offensive line that can't open running lanes or pass protect very well .

I agree with all of this.... But seriously, problem one is solved by firing Cam..... He is not a total, arrogent screw up like Rivers is.

Sizzle knows more about the game than anyone here on the forum does. He says that Flacco (regardless of his stats) makes the plays to win games. IE, the KC Game he ran for the first down, we took a knee. We all know with how bad our D played that game we would have lost.... His D, and Rice are not carrying him. Our O is potent with Rice and Flacco, ID understand why Cam does not see this.

The no huddle didnt work too well on the road.

IDT we ran the no huddle @ PIT, we need to go back to that.

I'm not gonna argue all these non sense points. Since Joe entered the league in 2008 no QB has more wins then Joe Flacco. You play to win the game. period. If you don't wanna accept the words straight out of Ray Lewis's mouth i don't know what to say to you. I'm sure Pitt could use some extra bandwagoners in 2 weeks lol

Ray might be the smartest Defensive Player in NFL history..... And I am positive, that Flacco would be loved in all but the elite six's (and Ryan and Luck) teams. Every QB can always improve in some areas.
