Flacco , Ray Rice stunk it up like complete amateurs tonight.

We are overachieving, and sooner or later its going to floor us. We need to get better. It has to start with Joe Flacco and he didnt do anything, NOTHING tonight. So did Ray Rice. Both needs to get out of their shell and step up now. I expected flacco to be sub-par bc his a mediocre QB, but watching Ray Rice play that bad tonight was sad bc he is a elite RB.

Rough games comming up @ our schedule. Lets go Ravens..

So many inaccuracies

Joe was facing a very good D, who double covered Torrey (our best WR) and did good against Q. I wanted him to light it up, but he didnt, just a good D

Rice was playing the same D.

Mediocre QB's don't have clutch ability like Joe does

This was going to be a battle defensivley anyway. Joe is a good QB, who can be elite.

I think you are missing the beauty of Joe's performance tonight. Did he light it up? He wasn't given the chance to light it up. Between the vanilla play calling and a great pburgh defensive performance Joe was stymied. But, he played a smart, mature game making excellent decisions every step of the way. He took what was given, and really made only two bad throws the whole night. AND, no picks!
We weren't watching the same game and also, you saying the play calling was vanilla makes my point. If it wasn't for special teams and Jacoby, we lose this game.

we won and we're 8-2. good! but that does not negate the fact that our offense is pure trash on the road. and imo it starts with flacco. this cat can't seem to overcome his road game demons.

#1 D and the oline opened zero lanes for Rice to get going! No run game = abysmal passing game (almost) every time.

The #1 defense in the NFL.

#1, do you know what that means?

They are the BEST defense in the NFL.

Did you REALLY expect 100+ yards rushing and 300 yards passing?

REALLY?

Eh, I don't think you can say we would have lost. Who knows how things would have played out without the return TD. Changing that obviously changes the whole game and most likely some of the play calling.

And I thought your point was that Joe did not help his cause with tonight's performance, which I don't think was made. Joe played a smart game and won. Didn't get the fantasy points, but did what was needed to win the game against a tough D, despite the ball and chain, AKA Cameron.

i clearly understand that point but i'm scrapping the #1 D talk. i'm talking about the road games in general. ;)

Joe was horrible. No other way to put it. He was way off and has shown, especially this year, no consistency, none! It may be a combination of Joe and Cam, but we are very lucky to win these away games. I have always been a big Joe fan, but I'm having a hard time giving him a pass on every away game. Other QBs play decently away. I'm a little confused. I'm very happy we won, but unless we play every game at home, we won't go far. Step back and look at what you really see . . he's been horrible away from home. . . horrible!

Thank You.

Some folks just don't understand the point of playing the game is to win, not to stack up the fantasy points.

If the season rests in Joes hand we will lose. Hes proven to choke when the team needs him most. The Ravens have always been a team that finds a way to win. Joe is just not good enough right now to carry anything and Cam is always there to make sure he won't either.

it has been horrible to watch. of course i am glad for a win on the road. we are 8-2. i love it! but to be honest, i have lost my trust and confidence in these boys (offense) getting the job done on the road.

There is a serious communication issue on the road. At times the O plays like it is pre season and no one is on the same page. It's got to be fixed.

Or the amazing stat that Joe is one of only FOUR QB's in the NFL with multiple wins visiting Heinz field.

It was a bad game for Joe in terms of accuracy. I'm going to say that outright. I'm a huge Flacco supporter, too. With that said, I didn't see too many bad decisions. His throwing was just off. He took one stupid sack, and the other was a smart idea; though I would have rather he run with the ball than take the sack on 3-2 or whatever it was.

One part of that game that went unnoticed is Flacco did not once turn over the ball. Pretty impressive, if I do say so myself.

it better not go unnoticed since the steelers had multiple turnovers that helped win the game

Did you just witness how this offense couldn't get a first down to seal the game for the defense? We all know if Ben was playing he would have marched right down the field and scored. Also about the last two times Flacco came back in pitt, how about in the playoffs? 0-2 with leads. My question to is, do you think hes elite?

I havent posted here in a long time, but I'm going to give the same rant as I just did on Twitter. We just won the freaking game. We WON. And we have won consistently for 4 and a half years now with Flacco as our quarterback. Our defense factors in, but we are 8-2. Is that not getting into some people's heads? Some of you literally act like you would rather have Grbac, Boller, Banks, Wright (list goes on) as our quarterback. Flacco is infinitely better than all of them but half of this fanbase still complains. I didn't know we were so spoiled with even DECENT QBs in the past to be complaining about Joe. He wasn't great tonight, maybe not even good. But he managed the game, didnt make any mistakes, and WON. His numbers weren't terrible. He made some bad throws, but he did enough to win. Some of you either need to get a serious reality check or just turn in your fan cards. The ignorance and stupidity of anyone who thinks Flacco sucks/should be released just amazes me. Flacco can and will lead us to the Super Bowl, and soon. So enjoy it while it lasts.

A sack there was a blessing in disguise..... It ran the clock, cam told joe not to throw an incompletion.... Taking a sack there wasn't bad... Not enough time for anyone to score really...... The first time in the playoffs he was a rookie. The second one was on the D, as he had a great game there
