I like the pickup, and this FO with Harbaugh has an excellent track record of getting production out of veterans for at least one year.

I'm hoping to see more Corey Graham this week, I've liked him since pre-season. Corners take awhile to adjust to Ed's risk-taking style of play, so the more experience Graham gets starting at CB, the better.

sounds like he is a stand up guy, I wish him the best. No better way to start your career with the Ravens than playing against the Steelers.

Sounds like another good/better/great player, but great person that seem to gravitate to the Ravens organization.

If he only shines on special teams, it will be a good signing. Any more will be icing on the cake.

I hope he's ready to step in. We need quality play at CB and in the secondary period. Best of luck...welcome to the team. Now go hunt.

Well, isn't it a dream for any play to be on a "championship team"?!

He's not a huge guy at 6'-1" 200lbs and he IS, 33 but, he's a great pickup right now.
Once Webb went down, Jimmy hadn't lived up to expectations anyway so this brings in a veteran that will shore up the position.

Even with him here, we're still CB light though. (On the field, but not on the roster BTW)
Not good for the post season AND, Johnson won't contribute like we need him to for a couple games and when Webb and Jimmy come back, they'll need a couple games to get up to speed as well.
The ripple effect of Webb going down is going to effect us for the rest of the regular season.
I guess we'll just have to improve our pass rush so the QB doesn't get as many chances to throw the ball :-)

i agree we will regret letting Omar Brown Go ,Mark my words there,,as Far as the signing i like it ,he cant be any worse then what we had back there, and those young guys can learn ,i have been saying this for awhile now i do not think Jimmy Smith is fit to be a cornerback ,they need to move him to Nickle or Safety.

They'll cut Dixon after the second Steelers game and pick up Omar Brown again.

You guys need to chill with the Omar Brown freakouts. Teams don't just pick up UDFA rookies with zero play experience in Week 11, and if they do, they'll just put him on their practice squad, which means we can still get him back whenever we want him. Just let the FO do its job, people.

Why does everyone say we are strugiling at corner or jimmy didnt live up to expectations. Jimmy has gotten better n better and continues to grow. That said I gues u expect a draft pick to come out and play like rod woodsoon or Mcalister. Give him time. Stop thinking we are gonna stop every pass every down. Its the NFL people be proud of your team.

Sorry one more think. Good luck Chris Johnson Ans welcome to the Raven Famly, I think he would fit it by next week against SD Where he should be fimiliar with SD being on the west Coast. I think Thats one big reason. No one mentioned that Chuckie Brown has been playing great. Also what happened to asa Jackson. Correy Grahm has been playing well to,
