Holy cow I had no idea they were planning Online the way they were. Mind officially blown. Thankfully since it won't be available until October 1st from other articles I've read I won't have to grapple with which I should dive into first, the actual GTAV or the multiplayer. Between essentially getting two GTAs for the price of one, new season of Its Always Sunny, and of course football season, its looking like September will be a lost cause for me actually accomplishing anything, hahaha.

wow, Sony REALLY screwed up this week.  The other day PSN Europe accidentally launched the Pre Load of GTAV digital, 25 days before release...... after 5 hours it was taken down.  Now people who have the encrypted files  (Which weighs in at 18GB) are now hooking up their PS3 HDD to their PC and cracking into the code. Leaking Radio stations and in game TV shows, cutscene audio. 

 

Im staying FAR away from it.  Not ruining the game for myself just 22 days before release.

I'm suggesting whoever doesn't want the ending/game spoiled in general to stay off of any sites that focus on gaming, youtube, and reddit. The whole game has leaked on xbox now as well and people are playing it and posting spoilers.

thanks, but the 360 "Leaks" are fake.  No one has gotten ahold of a disc yet.  Proof? Because all the videos on youtube only show the game booting up, and never any gameplay.  they are all fake.  All spoilers are coming from the leaked PSN version. And its only audio stuff. Nothing playable thus far.

 

 

 

 

Anyway,  I payed off my Collectors Edition the other day.  Totally ready to brave the crowd and get my copy at midnight in a few weeks. By this weekend we will be able to say 2 weeks left!

 

 

Also,  the Multiplayer for GTAV (GTA Online) doesnt unlock untill October 1st.  Rockstar is trying to release it to make it feel like a seperate thing. Its much deeper than anything Rockstar (or many others) have ever attempted to do to a open world game multiplayer. Im totally fine with this, as im most interested in Single player!!

Yup, I got an email from amazon the other day stating my Collector's Edition preorder was now upgraded for free to release date shipping, and I'm on paid vacation that week so anything I need to get done will have to be on Monday, the rest of the week is lost now, haha.

When I saw the Oct 1 launch date for Online it solved the dilemma my friends and I were dicussing, which will we play first as you're basically getting two games for one. At least now I know I can really focus on single-player first without the possibility of being distracted by multiplayer.

September is finally here.

 

I recently bought the Sony Pulse Elite headset which will have dedicated audio features for GTA 5 so the game can be heard the way it was meant to be heard. Can't wait to use it.
