This is the site of the Baltimore Ravens, right?

But seriously, I see your point. Great article Mr. Eisenberg, as always.

we got our broom I don't care who is injured we have had so many injuries it is unreal and we are still winning. Usually i like his articles this time not so much . sorry the ravens must win to sweep the division I could care less if the steelers lose every game from now til 2090. we have to handle the division. I don't think its going to be easy but we got this . Eisenberg do you really think that if flacco got hurt they would take it easy on us ,,, they would shove that football down our throats and enjoy every minute of it . lets GO Ravens

They can be amped up all they want but Leftwich is not going to get the better of us. When was the last time he even played in a game before Monday night?

I disagree. I think games where there is "Crushing Pressure" are the games we perform best in. Week 1 last year, against the Pat playoffs. Games with no pressure like Jags last year, KC this year are games where we blow it. That would explain our great record after a lose.

Division losses are never something you can afford. Anytime we play the Brownies, Bungles, or Stealers it should be a "must win" game for this team.

Gosh! So I have to listen to Cris Colinsworth point out all the calls that should have gone against the Ravens... and how all the bad calls that favor the Steelers have some slight element of merit to them thus exonerating the officials of any wrongdoing. I just wish they would bring someone else in to comment on this Sunday Night Football game. The beef with the Ravens is incomprehensible... it's not like the Ravens were around when he was playing (or not playing come to think of it).

If Leftwich starts, he can still shred our defense if we dont get pressure.. And the way we play so soft on coverage. Our defense is still very bad.

Ben in the MVP conversation? Well, I expect Joe Flacco to be in that conversation. The Steelers have literally 10 more passing yards than the Ravens. Joe is going to carry this team to the super bowl and win it!

Let's go. It doesn't matter who's behind center. They got 60 minutes of discomfort to look forward to. Let's go play hard, fast and most importantly smart and aggressive.

If the Ravens cannot prepare like there is no tomorrow for Sunday night's game, I will be sorely disappointed. As much as the Steelers need to win that game, we need it more. Sorry Eisenberg, home court advantage is something I won't count on when playing the Steelers. We need to beat them at Heinz field and then pummel them in ours! There is no letting up and giving them hope...

Not to worry Little Ben is the NFL's biggest drama queen. He will be there so he can be the hero and lead his team to victory under dire circumstances. He is always hurt and is always questionable, what's new??

We have to listen to that tool Gruden all night. Go on and on about how great this man with questionable character is, how strong and brave and dedicated, Blah, Blah

He runs faster, throws further, jumps higher and does it all while near death.

Give me a second while I go hurl...

I agree with "ellicottraven" we need to put the Pittsburg Squeakers out of their mind and go 2 games up on them, Ravens put the pedal down on the raiders, and I think we need to keep it down for here on out.. Time to send the NFL notice that we are here and we are for real!!

A win in Pittsburgh would be too sweet, not to mention put us in great position with the way the schedule unfolds from here on out. Get it done Ravens!

Knowing how ben has been throughout his career, i'd be more surprised if he didn't play, especially considering the stakes. He played with a bad ankle last year, really think he'd sit out a game against the ravens, at their house? Not by a long shot. Doesn't matter though, it's more fun beating the steelers with big ben in there as well, then the squeelers wont have no excuse!

A win is a win, it would just be far sweeter with Ben at QB! Besides Joe swept them last year so he's already beatin a Ben Roethlisberger led Steelers team! Time to sack-a-Leftwich!!

Everybody, even here seems to want to put an asterisk on wins against the squealers when Ben doesn't play!

Well, this is beyond asterisks and tie-breakers, this is about sweeping the North twice in a row and gaining a strong foothold on home field advantage!

I agree with Mystigo. This is the NFL. Players get hurt all the time. We're missing Lardarius Webb and Ray Lewis. Jimmy Smith isn't a big loss. We have to win this regardless of who's out. I don't just care about the Division. I want to win the AFC and then the Super Bowl

It seems like every time Ben gets hurt he plays or at least tries to. It doesn't matter if he plays or not we will come home with the W!

ben will play. and he will be typical ben making those gut-wrenching plays that make us wanna run up to pittsburgh and set him on fire. but his injury will get the best of him early in the 4th quarter and he starts to show that hes not invincible like he thinks he is, and we start pulling away when they struggle to get a first down the whole 4th quarter. thats my prediction

This game is must win for the Ravens- every division game is a must win, but especially against the #2 team in the division that's not very far behind you. Really Eisenberg, Ravens can afford to lose? Have you been watching this division for the last 5 years? Cmon man!

Ill trade the Rotten Burger for a Left-Wich to snack on for this game...just make sure I still get my pickles and cheese to go with it. Ravens still gotta play football though.. as far as injuries there's no excuses everybody's got them and everybody has to play with them. So I don't wanna hear anything after this game About why somebody lost or why somebody won... if it's blamed on injuries it just won't be acceptable... bottom line!!!

The Ravens can keep putting pressure on them by "Feeding" them Rice all day Oops, I mean all Night and Joe Smoking their secondary Occasionally! Defense, can rush Four or Five and everyone else play back and they are Done! Ed Reeeeeeeeed, doesnt need Pads, he can just Scare them from the Secondary Lol!

The Ravens didn't play the injury card when they lost to the Texans And they never have played the injury card... so I best not see no Squealer fans in here playing that injury card

Hopefully our birds will prepare for Ben, if they do, and he does not play, they will be more than prepared for Leftwich. Once we get the lead, I could see Suggs pinning his ears back and having some career production, that backup dont have the mobility to get away. Just pray our A game offense shows up and we'll be fine.

Too bad its on Sunday night, all we'll hear all night long is Cris talking about how wonderful the Pittsburg Steelers are and how we wouldnt be winning if Ben Rothlesberger was playing...

So Ben wont be playing but lets see we are short to as Ray Lewis will not play, Webb is out, Ngata at best will be the walking wounded, Reed may not play. We all have issues so let's not start the "you only won because" crap. We all are banged up.

Big Ben not being in there Sunday night WILL have an effect.
Like John said, it's not a guaranteed win but Leftwich is a stone in the pocket and he rushes his throws under pressure. That will bode well for us.
Love to guess what our game plan will be!

By what metric is the steelers defense #1? You mean to tell me the Steelers are playing better defense than the Texans? Than the Bears? This is the same Steelers defense that allowed 34 points to the Oakland Raiders, 31 to the Broncos, and 26 in a loss to the banged up then 1-4 Titans. Not saying we should take the Steelers lightly, but I think the Steelers are one of those teams that the media loves to deify. When it comes to the Steelers, the reality and hype just don't match. I really hope Big Ben plays Sunday in good health because I'm not interested in hearing excuses from pundits when we take home the W.

We are the ones who want home field advantage in playoffs. Houston has us right now. With things so close the only way is to win and win only. That's pressure.
