As long as we win 5 in a row starting week 16, I wont worry about the technicalities lol
That would be fine with me.

No way we finish 14-2. 12-4 maybe,
14-2 looks pretty good actually, 13-3 would be my guess with us losing @SD.

Hopefully someone beats the Texans.

My brother is a Charger fan and he can not figure out for the life of him why Ravens fans think the Ravens would lose that game. Besides the first 3 weeks the Chargers have been god awful, including in SD. I thought it be a tough game, but I still think we'll win. Our record could very well be 14-2.

It may be, but we all know it's not enough for a first round bye, and that is what this team is shooting for.

I think it's because of last year the way Norv and Rivers made our defense look like a college defense. We had no answer for their receivers. Not to mention it's a west coast trip sandwiched between 2 Steeler games.

I would prefer to play HOU at The Bank than in Houston. A first-round bye is one thing, home-field advantage throughout is another. Albeit, the road warriors this team is, the road to the Super Bowl this year must go through Baltimore.

I agree, but in the SB, there is no homefield.

Actually, fun fact:

Since drafting Raplesburger, the Steelers have never beaten us without him.

I hate the fact that we are playing the Steelers with Leftwich at QB. He can get really hot at times. This is an overaction on your part though. We did beat a bad team in Oakland. However, we showed the league just how bad they are. The Steelers should have lost that game to Kansas city, had it not been for two pass interfernece calls on third and long. Ravens can easily win out. I don't think we have a team on our schedule that it would be impossible for us to beat.

IK, but a rival is hard to bring down.... Suddenly remembers last year
IF Flacco shows up, I think we bring them down easy.

The AFC is so weak right now that a 9-7 team probably can get into the playoffs. That being said, I can't imagine that happening with Baltimore. I fully anticipate they'll sweep the division again to clinch a top 4 seed, probably the 2nd.

a bad team in AFC called bungals just trashed last year's champs that come from the NFC, but agree that the 6th playoff team in the AFC will be a 9-7 team... i'll call it now to be the pitts

Who do you think will be the 5th seed, the lucky Colts?

Colts are 6-3 and still to play: at Patriots (6-3), vs. Bills (3-6), at Lions (4-5), vs. Titans (4-6), at Texans (8-1), at Chiefs (1-7), vs. Texans (8-1). I see them winning vs Bills, Titans, Chiefs and one vs Texans so that's 10-6. Would love to see 'em go to Denver and beat Manning in playoffs... one can only dream lol.

Make that 11-5... I'm pretty sure they're not going to lose to the Cowardly Lions!

The way is see it now that Ben is out we could take 2 from the steelers.

Chargers- close game and i hope Rivers does not make us his get back on track team. The guy is a good QB. He has a gun for an arm. Loss

The Redskins- They scare me, a mobile QB that has a good arm. We already loss to one Mobile QB but the difference is RG3 makes better decisions. Loss

Denver Broncos- Um, Peyton can tear us apart and the defense is better then it was last year. Not even a contest in my eyes. Loss

NY Giants- Eli is looking awful and has been said to have a dead arm right now so we might be getting him at the right time. Win

The Bengals- In Cincy. This will be a game where we rely on Joe's talent away from home and i hope a win in Steeler country gives him some confidence. Win

I have us at 11-5 when all is said and done. How do you see it unfolding friends ?

I don't see us losing to the SKinz.... Especially if that defense continues to get CRUSHED. We can win a shoot-out with them.
Garcon is practicing this week, he may be back by our game or he may end up on the IR. The run game WAS doing great but its been slowed a bit lately. Sure, RG!!! can get us with his feet, but thats not going to be enough to win IMO.

Told my wife 12-4 at the beginning of the season... Printed out the schedule and slapped it on the wall of the man cave... Figured one loss each quarter... Guessed wrong 1st qtr as I figured it would be NE, not Philly... Had the Houston game as the only loss of the 2nd and one to Sqeelers in Pitt for 3rd... No longer convinced we split with them...

Originally I thought the elder Manning was the lesser threat in the 4th... Now i'm thinking the Denver game is the worse...

With the issues in Pitt, SD and the woeful deadskins? 12-4 is still doable...

Texans will not be giving up the #1 seed.

Well, I am surprised about Big Ben missing this and possibly the next game. With that said, life goes on.

@PIT: I see this as a win. I think we deal them a hard blow. I don't like to predict blowouts, but I see this being a big loss for Pittsburgh. I see it a loss due to injuries, though. Losing Sanders & Ben hurts. Wallace is good but I think Williams will actually do a good job on him since he knows him. I see this as a good game for us. A win.

@SD: not fond of this match-up. This will be a tough one, no matter what anyone says. Our boys will be beat up from the PIT match on a short week after a night game. I think they get it done, though. They got to watch that Denario guy. He's shown real promise. They also got our JJ and Ingram.

VS. PIT: I think we win this one. Yeah, it's after a WC away game, but I like our chances at our house. I just don't see us losing here.

@WAS: if any game coming up we can lose, it is this one. People might laugh at me right now, but after an emotional victory we seem to have after the Steelers, I can see us lose this game, especially because it's so close. This game worries me. I don't like this match-up.

VS. DEN: I'm not afraid of the Broncos. Yes, they have McGahee, Manning, Thomas, Elvis, Miller, and Champ. With that said, I like our chances in our house against Manning. It will be hard, I don't think we steam roll Manning. I do think we beat him, though. People said that Manning will be better at this point. Perhaps. But also perhaps our Defense gets better, too. Our defense seems to be improving every week. I think we win this game. It will be close, but we edge him out.

VS. NYG: We're home, Manning has looked off this year, I think our defense will be improved, and I see us matching up well against the Giants.

@CIN: Whether the Bengals are out or in, I see this as a tough match but one we win. It's at their house, could have playoff implications, but I like Joe against them.

I see us winning 7/7 or at worst 5/7. I don't expect or see us losing more than 2 games.

Right now, there are only 6 teams at .500 or above in the AFC. At that rate, even 8-8 gets into the playoffs. I tend to expect the Ravens to go 3-1 every quarter, though I hope they do better than that for the remainder of the season.

No, but would you really want us in as a 9-7 team? That record, in itself, would show how the Ravens fell deep into the abyss.
While I agree, one you're in, you're in. All bets are off and it's a new season. That's the thing!
