Where the hell have you been? loljk.
As president of the Flacco fanclub, do you believe that if he plays like he did yesterday, that there is nothing that can stop us?
PS. Can I please be the VP.

Just got back from a deep sea fishing trip :)

Flacco, for the most part, plays like that every week. Problem is, this game against OAK was the first time in a long time that I saw WR running wild and getting open at will, and the OL giving Flacco time to throw and plays to develop.

So yeah, there's plenty of things that can get in our way

True, but PIT has bad CB's, an injured LB core, and no DLine depth. How was your trip?

Its not an overreaction. The Chargers suck. The Redskins suck. The Steelers are going to be without their best receiver at the away game.

Longest home winning streak in the NFL, by a good margin. I don't think we're going to go and drop 3 home games in a row. Don't be an idiot.

Oh yea I must say...a big ben injury changes my thoughts about the remaining schedule..

Where I felt it would be nice to split with him playing...I now feel we better at the very least split if not win both..Steelers are a prideful team so even without ben I'm sure one of those games they muster up a good fight that goes to the distance..I just can't see us sweeping them 2 years in a row, injuries or not.

Up until last night i thought our best outcome would be a 9-7 but after bem going down i am thinking more like 11-5 With maybe an extra win verses the Skins if Pees pulls out another great game plan like this past weekend. The guy has it in him and i am so very glad to see him become more creative. After all that is why he has the job. He knew coming in that we like a strong defense that confuses QB's and he did just that.

Thank you Pees for showing us a glimpse of your talent. Now lets get going. GO RAVENS !!

Before Ben gets injured, you thought we were gonna drop 5 down the stretch? Wow!!!!! Hilarious ignorance there!

Well, yes, anything is a possibility. But to say its the best case scenario prior to Ben going down is to lose 5 of 7 to finish out? Wow!!!

So u haven't seen our defense this year?

You hadnt seen all the injuries ?

You haven't seen that Joe and the offense is still severely inconsistent?

With that said...its a stretch/ignorant for some to believe we could lose 4games against 3 superbowl qbs...along with a game out west where we got crushed last year

To not think that the likes of Eli, Peyton Ben and maybe even RG3 could cause us trouble then you are not facing reality. Not to mention the Chargers, we have to plan for the other teams best play not on hoping a slump extends. Rivers could cut our defense up. I agree with I AM LEGEND. You need to look at reality. We are going to face 2 mannings, a River and a very mobile RG3 who can give us the same trouble as Vick did who we lost to. So is it really to much to think we could lose 5 out of 7, no i do not think so. We need to play our best in this stretch to win and our best outcome is 4 out of 7 which i would be very happy with.

I think everyone will pretty much say those are the two games we SHOULD win (redskins and bengals) but both of those are away..we already know how we play in away games...

And with this defense ...if I had to bet my house I'm picking ben, eli and peyton to have their way with us....I'm hoping pride and rivalry factor at least cause one if not both Steelers game to be close..

I think a big key is what San Diego does this week...if we can get them defeated, emotionally beat up and basically quiting on Nurv...then what looked like a lose prior to the season I can see us winning...

I think our best chances of winning are as followed

Chargers
Redskins
Bengals
Home game against Pitt
Giants
At Pitt
Denver
I would hardly call the Skins game a "away game". It's 40 miles from home, and if they loose this week coming up... The place will be empty..accept maybe with Ravens fans.

This is my prediction for the last 7:

We go 5-2 some way, shape or form

This is what will hurt us

Pats only have 2 possible loses on their remaining schedule
Texans
49ers

And texans schedule is just as easy. ..

If we can't get a bye...we're off to Denver to face peyton or possibly hosting Pitt...that's ugly

You both were probably talking about the Pats running the table at the beginning of the season. This is the NFL, nothing is guaranteed for anyone and the games are not played on paper. How about we sit back and let the season play out with faith in our coaches and our team? Hedging your bets by lowering your expectations for the team is a loser mentality and it's what keeps teams like the Bengals, Chiefs and Browns on the bottom of the barrel. Thank god our team doesn't think like that.

Our defense isn't spectacular but it's getting better. We've been in every game we've played except against the Texans (who had us tee'd up) and to be clear, we beat the Eagles and were robbed by replacement refs. Hall of Fame Quarterbacks are going to give us trouble? Shocking. We can beat them just as easily as they can beat us. Good lord I'd hate to be a party with you two, it wouldn't be any fun at all lol. "I'd drink that beer but I might get a hangover" -tear-

right now the giants are looking very beatable, the bengals are being just as inconsistent as us, the chargers are collapsing and pretty much have given up on their coach, so that leaves the steelers and broncos for teams that playing well right now and two of those games are at home. I like our chances to go 5-1 and secure the second seed

7-2 and prior to the season starting I would have definitely signed up for that...

However this schedule is so brutal that by no stretch of the imagination is a playoff spot secure...

Lets look ahead to what we have shaping in the AFC:

6 spots...but I only feel 3 teams are locks...

Pats, Texans and Broncos...I say lock cause I don't see these 3 teams getting any competition from any other team in their division. (Yes I know the colts are 6-3...but they haven't played the texans once, nor do I see them beating them)

So that leaves 3 spots open...1 from our division and 2 wildcards.....I would say as of now its shaping to look like maybe we get 3 again if the bengals can beat out the colts maybe chargers

Remaining schedule..

4 games against 3 superbowl QBs(ben, eli, peyton)
1 game against a tough divisonal opponent and playoff team last year (bengals)
1 game going to the West Coast (chargers)
1 game against a young exciting qb in Washington

After looking at the way things are looking in the AFC I really do think worst case scenario is even if we go 2 -5 down the stretch I think we're good at 9-7

However I got this little voice in my head that says the Ravens can lose a good portion if not all of these games with how inconsistent both Offense and defense have been..

Taking off ur homer glasses...is there one game that would surprise u if the Ravens didn't win?...not me...

But what do u guys think about 9 wins getting us in.
My homer glasses are off and I ask of you: Have you watched the Chargers and Redskins play this year? Neither has looked like a world beater since the first couple of weeks of the season. Any feelings of these reeling teams being "dangerous" can be just as easily attributed to an even worse team like the Chiefs, they just finished playing two tough AFC north teams and only lost by 3 to both our team and the Steelers. EVERY team can win on any given day as they say, so with that said, IMO that underscores this entire thread. But the Chargers and Redskins are nowhere where I thought they would be at this point in the season and while they are road games, I really find it hard to believe our team will lose those two. Ben likely won't play Sunday and even if he does I find it hard to believe he will be very effective, even running the short pass West coast Offense. I never discount divisional rivals so I'll leave the other Pittsburgh and Cincy games at that. The Broncos and Giant will be tough outs no doubt, and I wouldn't be surprised if we do lose one or both of those matchups, but we do have the benefit of playing both of those at M&T, which in case you missed it, our team is close to invincible as of late in their home confines. I don't see us losing more than 3 more games out of these last 7. I figured our team for a 12-4 or 11-5 record again BEFORE the season even started.

Yup, you got me. You deciphered my code and now know exactly what I meant.

No, I just dont see one of the worst mid-season collapses happening to the Ravens for us to go from 7-2 to "AT BEST", ending at 9-7. Sorry, I have a tiny bit more faith than that!

We haven't looked like world beaters either. The Chargers didn't look too strong before they rubbed our face in the sand on Sunday night last year. I honestly looked at the schedule and figured at worst we could finish 9-7 which I think could get us a wild card. I see us winning ateast 2 of 3 of the home games and at least another 1 on the road. I see us beating the Chargers now though because of how we got spanked last time out West. I think the Skins game is close but we win. Realistically I see the defense improving as they usually do towards the end and the offense starting to find its groove. Will be an interesting end to the season.

Very true, with the exception of week 1 and last week we have certainly looked quite shaky at various times on both sides of the ball. But again, I think what underscores this entire thread is that any team can win any given matchup, that's why the games are played. So its really kind of moot for you, I, I am Legend or anyone to be speculating on any of these outcomes. But that's what we do as people outside of the game every year, haha...

I do feel pretty confident in saying we will win 4 of the last 7 games at the least and pending our two matchups with Pittsburgh, as in if we can at least split the series, it should be good enough for the division title again.

Unlike some fans, I never bought into the Ravens are finished wagon. I thought 11-5 or 12-4 would likely be or final record with losses @ Pitt, @ SD, and potentially Denver at home.

Now I think 12-4 or 13-3 is likely and14-2 is very possible. Our D is starting to come around and we really dont play any tough Defenses down the stretch. I think Flacco has a monster stretch run.

Why not? The toughest game on the schedule was @Pitt. No longer. The other tough games are at home where we are a much stronger team. @SD might still be a loss, but you are acting like the Ravens are some kind of push over team.
