The Chiefs haven't held the lead for a single second of regulation time this season. Their only win came against a Saints team that was still finding itself at that point of the season. The only reason they were in the game against us was because we played down to their level. Both their QBs suck.

Dear Santa, Hanukkah Harry, Kwanzaa Claus and Festivus Frank - Please give the Chiefs a win against the Steelers tonight.

Pittsburgh is aware that we are watching them and they will use this low threat game to show as little as possible. I'm sure in preparation for this game they will come out of left field with a lot of things we have seen, just like we will do the same for them. Right now all we can hope for is a KC win, perhaps aided by the bad weather.

Unfortunately i've seen Dwyer play at Georgia Tech and i thought he was a good back. I say unfortunately because he's on Pitt., this kid is good. He's not Ray Rice but he's as good as Mendenhall i believe. Also unfortunately is that Pitt., we in NY saw the whole Giants vs. Pitt game last week, and they are improving and i think will be primed to play our Ravens. Pitts o-line is squeaky though, but Pouncey is GREAT! It should be a typical brawl next week on primetime. Baltimore has a chance again to show how football can and should be played.

If the Chiefs are going to take one lead in regulation time, let it be as time expires in tonight's game! [well, in overtime would be OK too...]

...and for a stocking stuffer, please give Rottsberger a high ankle sprain. Thank you, Santa!

I normally don't wish injuries upon others, but it is Roethilberger...maybe someone could break his nose...

what the steelers will do
Quick WR screen/ Fake quick WR screen and go/Reverse/ Crossing routes/ Run
hopefully the rain limits them to the run and the chiefs can compete

I'm fully expecting Pittsburgh to play to the level of their opponent. They will scrape out a win tonight and then come back and play phenomenal next week. We just need to play better then they do, obviously.

Garrett, not sure we should "try a ground and pound approach next Sunday" as you pointed out that the Steelers have been fairly stout against the run (fourth in the NFL) and their defense is starting to get healthy again. Our run game on Sunday did not exactly get off to a good start. I have no doubt we can beat the Steelers, but I think we need to execute a similar game plan to this past Sunday. Spreading the ball around seems to really work for us. We just have to execute like we did on Sunday.

I'm watching for injuries and uuhh, down goes Roethlisberger for now! I wonder what's up with that?! Oohh, I'm sort of excited about this one. He's pulled his little tricks on us before; saying stuff about his "injuries" and then coming out like a banshee. Let's not be fooled Ravens nation, this guy is a dancing sprite ready to strike at any time!
