Doesn anyone else think that the fake FG touch down had anything to do with Joselio Hanson's trash talking to Boldin about "denying" us the touchdown, even though they were losing as bad as they were.

I took it as an "ok want to talk trash? look at the scoreboard....keep looking.... see that? 6 more... Keep talking" I think their coach thought the same thing by the look on his face. to me he was saying to himself, we deserved that for talking trash down by 21 points.

I always thought the purpose of the game was to score the most points during the 60 minutes of play time. Did the Ravens do something outside the scope of the rules? Is there an "unsportsmanslike" penalty for scoring, now? Once we get ahead, are we supposed to take a knee for the rest of the game, because we are afraid of "karma"?

Another good example is the Chargers was up 24pts leading into the second half against the Denver, and then they started to play soft cuz of worrying about running scored (IMO); the Chargers lost their momentum cuz they didn't finish up the Denver, and the Broncos came back and whooped the Chargers 35-24......

I must have missed that play lol. I do remember the fake FG however. And who cares, it was a punter running the ball in untouched its not like the offense was sent out and just throwing TDs. The way the patriots did a few years ago in the snow to I believe the Titans 59-0.
No one cared about that they simply marveled at Brady's efficiency.

Plus this is the nfl comebacks from big do occur! A few weeks ago patriots were down 21-7 to the bills then they went on to 52-28. No mention of running up the score. Patriots also beat the Rams 45-7 in England that wasn't considered running up the score either.

There was no way of knowing that fake fg would score a TD or that a kickoff would be returned for TD also....

What the whiners have discounted is the Raiders were still playing full tilt. They were lined up to attempt to block that kick. They overloaded with every intention of blasting through the line and getting to the holder/kicker...

The call was correct... Ravens would have taken the 3 if the Raiders had just lined straight up... Why put your kickers at risk when there is this beautiful walking path to the end-zone?
