Just give Flacco 92 yards of FieldTurf, that's all he needs.

Both teams coming in hot. Glad we got some momentum coming in. Here are the key questions in my opinion:

Can we generate a pass rush on Ben?

Can we run the ball on the Steelers D?

Can our DB's handle Wallace, Brown, Sanders, and MIller?

Can we tackle Redman and Dwyer?

Will Flacco show up on the road?

Can we take advantage of the Steelers' inexperienced DB's?
I think this will be one of our toughest games of the year. However, we always seem to show up in our road games against PIT.

My prediction:

27-24 Ravens over Steelers

You" think " this will be one of our toughest games of the year, lol. Besides one game for the past 4-5 years, every game has came down to the wire so you can pretty much book it that it will be one of our toughest, if not, toughest challenge. We need to keep a balanced approach and if we do that, I feel good about our chances. If we still had Webb, I would love our chances even more. I think the Steelers will edge us out on the strength that they are at home and we do terrible on the road. If the Ravens were to win, it would do wonders for the teams confidence b/c all obvious fingers point to the Steelers beating us.

We always play our best against the Steelers, which is why I don't believe the "Ravens don't play well on the road"-rule applies for Pitt.
However, our defense against the pass is seriously bothering me. Palmer put up alot of yards against us and unlike him Roethlisberger doesn't have much trouble finding the endzone. He plays very well this season.
On the bright side our running defense looked pretty good and the Steelers love running the ball.

OH I LOVE Steeler week.

Todays game was a nice confidence booster ( although I understand there could be an argument to that ).

This pretty much ALWAYS is the best game of the season.

Yes this game is very winnable. For both teams. These two teams know each other like the back of their hands. The respect each other tremendously, they hate each other, and they love playing each other. Most of all they play the same way, the same style, the same passion. I cant wait for Sunday already.

So stock up on the Tumms, make sure your blood pressure medicine is up to date, grow your fingernails so you have something to chew on.
ITS STEELER WEEK.

to be honest, i'm hoping for a shocking and surprising loss to the chiefs for the steelers tomorrow night and a texans loss to the bears tonight.

While I agree that it is concerning, keep in mind that Jimmy Smith was out and several of those yards were due to bad tackling and play in garbage time

That's Smith's 2nd or 3rd week with this injury, isn't it? And like I said Roethlisberger is having a great season. Even if we get Jimmy back on the field 100% healthy, Big Ben still is quite the challenge for our secondary.
I hope Reed's shoulder is okay. We will really need him against Pitt.

Both teams coming in hot. Glad we got some momentum coming in. Here are the key questions in my opinion:

Can we generate a pass rush on Ben?- Yes

Can we run the ball on the Steelers D?-Thats too easy, In fact they will dare Flacco to throw

Can our DB's handle Wallace, Brown, Sanders, and MIller?. Wallace, yes, Browns out, Sanders sucks, Im worried bout Miller.

Can we tackle Redman and Dwyer?- Yes, especially if Ngata is healthy

Will Flacco show up on the road?- There is no homefield advantage in these kind of games

Can we take advantage of the Steelers' inexperienced DB's?- Yes, if Flaccos line can protect him
What we need is for Ngata and Jimmy to get healthy. Harrison is a shell of himself, Troy is overrated, and Rottenbergers line has not been great as of latley. ESPN and NFL network will pick PIT, but we are still better.

Steelers O-line is very questionable and Suggs will eat that up....Ben needs to get ready for his nose patched up....

Ravens and Steelers are always playing at their best against each other, and it feels great if we sweep them again....

It's going to be a closed game cuz we are playing in their house; if this game at M&T stadium, I have a much better feeling winning this than vice versa....

Key to win this game is to limit the penalty, run the football, and use no huddle wisely....

The Steelers won't have Antonio Brown.
The Steelers passrush hasn't been as good as in years past either.
The Steelers are really old on defense.
But, they have Ben who can still play well behind an OL annually worse than ours.

We do have Suggs back and both Upshaw and Kruger have upped their games.

Flacco has played well against them of late and Ray Rice always makes them look foolish.

I have us winning this game.

Ravens 31
Steelers 21

Alot of good tapes today on Raiders game.

I dont know what happened, but our front 7 was phenomenal.
Honestly, they did play really hard and I think the coaches made the right call resting some of the starters that were injured even when they were active and could have played. Sometimes I rather have a young second string guy playing at 100% giving it his all than a starter trying to make it through the game playing at 70%. Of course they have to step up and today they really did.

This will be another Sunday night classic. If the Ravens can just imagine they are playing at home, another words, put all fans distractions out of their mind, we can win this game. We have been playing there better than other venues, hopefully this continues. Ravens 20-16.

OHH.....Such Steelers Love during this Week. The Ravens should have saved some of that offensive power load they had today against the Raiders. 28-17 Steelers all day. We have 4 out for the KC Game. We should have a full team in affect for BMORE.

They may lead the league in passing yards given up, but they're giving up points - 21, compared to our 22 a game. We have them beat in opposing QB rating and sacks also, which is saying something. Both teams seem to be more of the "bend not break" type this year, but bottom line is we should be able to score on the Steelers. The problem is of course that they'll probably have an easier time scoring on us as well.

I think this year shows just how great the Ravens and Steelers organizations are. I feel both teams are in a transition period on defense. Both teams are playing a lot of young guys who are learning on the fly and despite the ups and downs, they're still finding ways to win.

With the beaten NYG took today, that win last week by the Steelers doesn't seem so impressive, but it was a quality win none the less. I think Flacco and the offense should be able to have a really good showing in this game, but that's always easier said then done, especially on the road.

I thought today's game showed that even when Ray Rice isn't having huge success, the running game is very much effective for the Ravens. Teams are gonna come into every game looking to stop Rice and the Steelers are no different. So the Ravens have to use a lot of play action on 1st downs and just stay balanced, regardless of the score or flow of the game.

I don't like the defensive match up because I don't think Pees will have confidence in his players to match up man to man often, which means that Ben will be able to get the ball out of his hands quickly against the zone. However if the Ravens can force Ben to beat them against aggressive defense, then I really like the Ravens chances.

Should be a really good game for both teams.
