Hmmm..... The fact that Cary was on the cover, then it showed Moore, suddenly scared the crap out of me. Jimmy needs a breakout game.

Not too worried about this game. We should get a few sacks and interceptions and the run game should work well against their defense. More concerned that we don't get any more injuries before next weeks game against the Squeelers.

They're so much better in Passing and in Points. However, M&T Bank will be the equalizer. The 12th Man is going to help us to victory!

Everyone keeps talking about Ed and Cary and even Jimmy i think the Piece that will help the defense is Graham hes played solid in coverage in the nickle ,to be Honest i dont see the Raiders having a great run Game this weekend if anything it would be the pass we have to worry about ,so in past meetings with Palmer despite his great track record against us he can be rattled with good pressure i expect suggs to have a huge day on a shaky Oakland Line and i expect to see a much improved defense at home basically because Ellerbe is excelling at the right time and i feel we will concentrate on the teams stronger points which is Oaklands Passing yards which are also misleading because most yards come when there behind ,all i ask is that we go out and we play like Ravens this week because the difference will be Ray Rice and the ground Game against a weak Oakland run defense and for Flacco to get all his guys involved and in order to do that the O-line has to step up big create holes ect ,also clock management something statistically we have been poor at we need to utilize it and get those 3rd downs ,we do that we will win.

If you jam the receivers it takes away the speed factor

if you pressure Carson he will fill Ed Reeds hands

If you hammer their D-line with Rice and Peirce they will fill the box, play action works

Remember Q is like a very very fast fullback 10 yards deep

Vonta Leach likes to hit people, give him the opportunity

We have many receivers on our team, keep them all fresh

Oh yeah, win

GO RAVENS!

Jam them at the line. Play man to man with a safety deep. Big corners play well in man to man. Don't be afraid to shove Jimmy.... And cary..... just swat at the ball.

I'm not intimidated in any way by the Raiders' offense, but I can't help seeing this image in my head of Cary getting smoked on every play by the Oakland receivers. I really hope I'm wrong.

of course you aren't intimidated....you're not on the field playing against all of that speed...our Ravens are! lol!

seriously though.....i like Pollard's focus in his following statement:"They all are burners and they all are ready to make plays," safety Bernard Pollard said. "That's kind of scary because you've got three or four receivers who can run that want to catch the ball and embarrass the defense. So we've got to be sound with what we're doing."

Here's an idea, get rid of Pees. He turned our top 10 defense into the bottom 10. We just can't afford any more open big plays

I understand not wanting to give up big plays, but please don't tell me our answer for that is going to be providing a 10 yard cushion for their receivers. Speed can be neutralized by physical play. Our CBs are relatively big and not super fast, so how about jamming the crap out of these guys at the line of scrimmage? I heard we drafted a physical press coverage corner in the first round a couple years ago ... how about we let him play his game?

The shocker is that both teams are statistical equals... wow! Hopefully the Ravens come out on top. The other scary statistic is that Carson Palmer is 9-4 against us. Hopefully he has since forgotten that edge he had...

I have a question this time. What happened to screens, wr and hb screens. No quick passes like 3 yrd games thats why the streth of what 5 three and outs. Everyone knows screens slow the pass rush and keep thee d honest. So mix it up cam. end around with a fake then a wr screen in trips bunch and do a halfback screen. Do some quick passes build a tempo. Instead of using passing game to get 20 30 yrds use it for 3 or 4 yrd gains too, Mix it up. seems like our passes take way to long to devolop, If you dont mix it up they know how to defend you. go deep one play go 3yrd slant next play. this is football 101, I like cam. Im one of the few fans that still has respect for cam but the last bunch of games the plays were called one dimentional and you cant do that. When cam shows up with his manhood atached we play great. If tampa scored that many points we should double that. GO RAVENS CANT WAIT TILL 1.

@ bmorebirdflu52 "Patience Grasshopper"! They are still Tweaking this Ride and winning in the process! The tweaks last week were visible and this week will reveal some more improvement and so on! The texan game was the best thing to happen to the Ravens!

I agree with you 100% Purple Dawg. The Ravens get better when they can finally see and feel their weaknesses (Texans Game was one to show them that). A wake up call is a wake-up call, and I believe the Ravens will shine and be in the Playoffs!

@BmoreB If you're right I'll treat you to a dinner. Cam needs to disappear for that to happen. If Andy Reid loses his job today I would hire him and fire Cam, He can't do any worst.
