Ya they played like crap and there were some headscratching decisions but to call him clueless is a bit of a stretch since they lost to a top 5 team by less than 5 points.

Clueless in comparison to coach K may be a better description..

Was very satisfied to see Wisconsin beat the overhyped Michigan Wolverines. Michigan has three guys who could go to the NBA and two of those could go solely because of their last names. I just laugh when I hear the media hype them up. Indiana beat them twice and then they fell to the barely athletic Wisconsin team. But in their defense, Wisconsin does have a great coach in Bo Ryan. And that team moves the ball well and waits for good shots.

I haven't seen 1 Louisville game all season. Anyone wanna give me a scouting report? Apparently they're projected to be a #1 seed which amazes me.

Yeah that amazes me too. To be honest, I'm not even doing a bracket for the tournament because so many #1's have fallen. And as for Louisville, I'm a huge fan of them because of Rick Pitino. He's a class act and very smart, but here's why I'm not sure they should be a #1: Peyton Siva. When he's on, he's on, but I'd trust Russ Smith with the ball a lot more than I would Siva. Two games earlier in the season were in Siva's hands and he lost both of em. Bad shot in one of them and a bad pass in the other. And their big guy Djeng is just too easy to move around. He's a great shot blocker, but he's not dominant. I'll still be rooting for them though. I'm a fan of multiple basketball teams solely because of their coaches. And my home college(Terps) isnt one of them

Thanks and you should totally do a bracket, it's going to be the funniest year ever. Just fill it out randomly lol

I'm hoping to get people on here to do one

Please tell me Maryland didn't beat Duke to lose to North Carolina. NC sucks this year.

Anyone watch the Liberty/NC A&T play-in game? Refs stole a chance from Liberty to tie or win the game. Guy drove down and got hit to the floor going up and they didn't call it. Hope Louisville crushes NC A&T. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a more blatant foul.

My Dad has Louisville going all the way, beating Indiana in the National Championship. I don't see it. They'd have to play lights out with no mistakes. I like Louisville and Pitino though. Pitino's a smart and classy coach. I remember years ago, one of his guys dunked it at the end when they were easily about to win it and he apologized for it, saying that's not the kind of team they were.

LOU goes into overdrive to get a hard-fought win against the Shockers! A 16-pt swing in the last 16 minutes!

You do know there's a March Madness thread right? Also leave it to my Terps to miss out on drafting a star like Fair. Guy's a beast on the boards.

Not pleased with the perimeter defense, or lack thereof, by Syracuse. Though to be fair, some of those shots were out of this world!

Tough loss for Wichita State, refs made a terrible game ending call on that supposed tie up. Not that WSU would have necessarily made the 3 to tie it but that call screwed everything up

I'll say. I expect that from Burke, but #2 was so small and so far away. I was like, "No way!!!" Guy was about the same height as Mugsy Bogues. And I can't stand this white guy with Barkley and Kenny in the half time show. I still have no clue who he is and I'd be surprised if he's ever played the game. He says some of the dumbest things. Interesting how the Michigan coach has sort of a war council with his assistant coaches. Usually they show the coaches giving pep talks to their teams, but I found that pretty interesting. This is gonna be a tight game though.

Syracuse has narrowed it to 6 with McGary on the bench!

Told you it was gonna be a close one. I really hate how horrible Maryland is at recruiting locals. To think Fair is from Baltimore just makes me sick to be going to UMD. Always miss out on all the great locals. First Ty Lawson. Now this guy Fair. And did this announcer just mention picking up his pivot foot? They havent called that at all this season. And Michigan is just standing around. My Dad showed me a few plays to break the zone, but nobody's moving around on Michigan. News flash to that coach: The zone isn't a new concept. I feel like announcers are treating Boehein's zone like NFL announcers were talking up the pistol. I remember Trent Dilfer saying how nobody had an answer for the pistol. If you've played or coached basketball, you know the zone is beatable. The old Annapolis high school basketball coach knew how to beat it. Boehein does have the right players and they are disciplined, but it's not invincible.

If anything, Michigan's cutting their lead. And Burke needs to shut his mouth. Yelling at Albrecht when he's just standing around doing nothing instead of coming to the ball. Beeline or however you spell his name doesn't seem that smart.

EDIT: Nevermind. MICHIGAN doesn't seem that smart. Let a guy take a layup when you're up by six. I honestly would rather play Michigan more than Syracuse. Syracuse is smarter on defense and they have a better coach. Tough break for the Orange.

What a way to end the game... who drives to the rim on the last play when down 3?!?!
[/quote]

I guarantee that wasn't what was called. Should have been Sutherland or Fair for 3.

Well they still had 17.9 seconds on the clock, but that wasn't the play for him. Like one of the announcers said, I would've given it to Fair or Southerland. I thought it was a little disrespectful of Michigan to dunk it at the end there. And I really hate this white guy on this panel with Barkley. I can't say it enough. Michael Carter-Williams flopped on that play and he was all over Hardaway Junior. This guy talked about inconsistency of the officiating. I feel like Skip Bayless stole this guy's skin and put it on to try commentating on Basketball. He really knows nothing about the game. I really question CBS's basketball commentator decisions. Not getting rid of Raftery and Lundquist and giving this new no-name guy a chance.

If your talking about that group of 4 that did halftime and after the game then it is Doug Gottlieb.

Yeah that's him. Can't stand that guy. Why don't they have someone respectable like Jay Williams or Jay Bilas? Seriously, he's just as bad as Raftery. Everytime Bill says "A little KISS! for the big fella!" my urge-to-punch meter gets to an all-time high. Most of the time, I mute him. He's the Chris Collinsworth or worse of basketball announcing.

I'm betting on Michigan tonight. Their cohesion is amazing. Louisville looked lost at times in their last 2 games.

I love me some Louisville, but it's gonna be tough to do this. Djeng is undersized against McGary and the same goes for their backcourt against Michigan's. But anything's possible.
