Figurs

I do not see how Figurs is helping us out on kick and punt returns..

Needs to improve his vision and toughness.

He runs directly into blockers and once he is touched he falls to the ground.

Does anyone disagree or agree?

Nice touchdown though!!!!!!!

I agree. His vision is not yet there. But with all player on the team. Heap, Flacco, McGahee, Rice. Give Figurs a few weeks and he'll start churning up some big games. I'm going to start waiting until the end of the season, before I start assessing players. Everytime we start dogging on a player, he has a great game. Maybe we should give Figurs a hard time.

He hasn't been 100% all season, and this was the first game he played while really healthy since game one against Cincinnati in which he had a touchdown called back by a bad block in the back penalty. I think his success last year proves that, when healthy, he can be an explosive return man. I have noticed that he seems to run into guys more than he should, but I assume that that's because, not being 100%, he isn't able to avoid them.

Jim Leonhard is an excellent KR/PR, and I think he has better vision than Figurs, but the speed isn't there. I see Figurs running backwards on returns a lot which concerns me as well. Ray Rice is ok too.

Not sure who you are referring to.

But Figurs was a good returner last season. I doubt that suddenly he forgot how to return kicks and punts but I do think that we we need a new kick returner, whether it's Rice or Leonhard.

The Ravens love potential, with Figurs speed he can make some big plays. Last year Figurs did well but had a problems holding the ball. I think we should keep giving him the ball unless he starts fumbling or something costing us the game.

The Ravens turn potential into points.

Ehh... If he is not 100% then he shouldnt be returning kicks. Leonhard has done really well so far... id like to see him have a majority of kick/punt returns.
