As noted elsewhere, PFT (not the world's most reliable news source :)) said that Ngata, Yanda and Bobbie Williams are OUT of the Oakland game...

BOTH starting guards, listed as out...

IF this is true, we'd have Oher & McKinnie at tackle, Harewood and KO at guard, and Birk at center... with only Jah Reid and Gino backing up.

in all fairness we should beat oakland. but what we need is a big win, flacco to dominate their weak secondary and rice to run all over their sloppy front 7! get all the analysts' attention back to Bmore cause thats where it needs to be

On offense I'm hoping to see us make a strong entrance and giving the ball to Ray initially to put us on the board a couple times, then cycle Pierce and Ray out while giving the tight ends opportunities and the WR's a chance to make big plays to hopefully get a solid win over a, to be honest, bad defense.

I also believe this is time for the defense to re-establish itself and boost its confidence. Really it's up to the secondary for the most part to make picks and prevent Palmer from establishing a rhythm, which includes T-Sizzle getting some pressure and obviously a few sacks!

But those are just my hopes.

Heard that Oakland's DL coach's 4 y.o. son passed away today. My thoughts go out to him. That is a tough thing to handle.
